No, I765 is free when you file I485 concurrently or when you file I485 first. Provide your photocopies of the I485 Noa1 receipt notices for yours and his as explained above with your new I765s.

Thank you! I will do paperwork and send it out tomorrow.

Now I’m ask worried about I-485 but have to wait anyway..

I have the same message like you do. I made an online inquiry Sunday and I see the update now that says is currently not assigned for processing however my EAD is out of processing time.

Hi Gigi2017..

Have you heard any progress on your EAD after you put in an online inquiry?

My case inquiry still reads "currently not assigned for processing" on my EAD

I also put in an inquiry and mine has the same status as yours which is ‘currently not assigned for processing’ 😔

I just called USCIS to ask about my AoS since EAD was denied on February and I didn’t get any notice of it.

My application for greencard was also denied on the same date of employment authorization. And of course denied AP too.
They said it’s strange because it was denied on February 27, but my status showed that they received our documents on March 5.
But it’s high volume and they couldn’t connect to upper people so I have to call again on another day to take another person like Tier1 there.

I don’t know how I can do...

I will request Notice of Denial but what should I do from this.

well I have heard EAD usually gets denied if AOS is denied. so lets focus on why you got denied for AOS. Did you respond to your RFE that was sent in November within the time frame they gave you(usually within 30-90 days), it looks like they received your RFE response on March 5, after they denied you on Feb 27.  Perhaps you mailed it past the due date? They wouldn't deny you without an interview unless you failed to respond to the RFE properly.

What was your RFE regarding and what did you send them exactly, sometimes as simple as a missing tax return form can cause a denial.  USCIS aint perfect and they do make mistakes. hopefully it's a technical mistake on their end, but you need to figure out what could have gone wrong on your end first.

Worst case bring your congressman or a lawyer involved if your case doesn't get anywhere.

Thank you for your comment.

They may seem our case couldn't answer to RFE in 87 days (expiration date).

Here is the thing.

The RFE was issued on November 8, but I noticed that December 26 when i checked my status online.

I had not get any notice, called to resend the notice of RFE. I got for my son on January 12, for me was 27th since my husband  didn't ask for mine at the first call.

We correct documents to answer and they received March 5. I assumed that the expiration date has been extended because we got notice by text and my status shows that.

From then, I had waited for and some times call USCIS, but they just said "still processing".

But we are financially tight, I E-requested about my I-765 2 weeks ago, then I knew it was denied.

The online status doesn't show my case now, i could see it yesterday but maybe because i called yesterday ?

I will call USCIS to tell this situation and try to have an appointment for infopass.

I just called and the woman said all of my application was still pending!  On her system, no denial of my case, but i got an email about EAD denial, then she said "Nothing on my system."

I will call tomorrow again and again until I can get 'true" information or an infopass appointment.

Their system is really panicked. Don't trust them but yourself and do everything what you can do for now.

Plus... anyone experienced case status online? after enter receipt number, it shows empty. what this mean?

that's really good news, pending in their system, maybe the website is being wack and giving you wrong info. hopefully you'll hear approvals soon. not sure why your EAD still taking so long you applied a year ago, probably good idea to press on that for now, Green card usualy takes a while depends on your field office.
