OK just making sure as out I-131 receipt number is missing on the biometrics letter. Only the I-485 and the I-765 our on the biometrics letter.

based on your timeline, you havent even received NOA1, so it's usually about a month after getting your NOA1, i got my NOA1 last week and i still havent received a letter for my Bio appt.

AOS/EAD/AP ->: 11/29/18 - NOA1: 12/04/18

Biometric NOA:  12/14/18  Biometric Appt: 12/26/18

Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview: 1/16/19

EAD/AP approval: 3/18/19

AOS Interview Appt: 6/4/19

AOS Interview: 7/10/19

AOS Approved: 7/23/19

Idk, based on the dates people are reporting, I feel it's more like a month from the time the application is received, not from the time the NOA letter arrives

We are K1 arrived 10/17 married 10/18, filed i485 and i765 on Nov 28, Received date on Noa1 is Nov 30, NOA1 date is Dec 4, husband received SSN Dec 11, today Dec 13 received notice for biometrics for Dec 24.  

 

Anyone seen timeframe for work permit??? Been trying to find on VJ with no luck!

It is really 4 months minimum unfortunately. No hopes that it can go faster, unless you are in a very delicate financial situation with a job offer.

@Gibus thank you for the information. That’s crazy it’s taking so long. Thank god not in a financial burden🙏 My husband just wants to work lol.  USCIS sent our NOA1 and biometrics appointment so fast I was thinking maybe the 4-6 month thing is a “fluff” guess not. 😅😅

If you live in Kentucky and your field office is Louisville, he might have his GC before his EAD if he's lucky. Looks like a fast processing office compared to others. But every case Is different and USCIS is full of surprises!

 

The NOAs and the biometrics letters almost always arrive fast but the rest is very different!

Received text notifications late last night. We mailed the package last Friday (12/07) and they got it on Monday (12/10). Time to bookmark the USCIS case status page again...🙄

  • 10/30/2018 POE on K-1 visa
  • 12/03/2018 Married 😍
  • 12/07/2018 Sent AOS, EAD and AP forms 
  • 12/13/2018 NOA1
  • 12/21/2018 Received Biometrics appointment letter
  • 12/26/2018 Successful walk-in biometrics 
  • 03/20/2019 USCIS online case status for I-485 changed to "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" 
  • 06/10/2019 EAD/AP expedite request submitted with evidence through Congressman's office
  • 06/17/2019 New Card is Being Produced! (EAD)
