How long does it take to have the EAD in hand? From card being produced to the card being in the mailbox?

A week or two. Lately I've seen 3 to 4.

After 203 days my EAD was approved, and the card is being produced!  I'm so excited!

Congratulations!! That's amazing news.

Nice to see some December filers getting good news! Did you expedite or was that normal processing?

I'm 204 days, still no news yet. Fingers crossed..

Thanks! I didn’t expedite it. But we did contact our senator and that might have played a role.  Maybe you can look into that and see if it works for you? We contacted ours like 2 weeks ago.

You contacted your senator and didn't expedite? What did you say? Did you email her/him? Thanks. I am at 21O days 😞

I didn’t expedite through USCIS. We contacted our senator through physical mail.

Yesterday I contacted my senator and today she replied asking if I want expedite and to provide her documents of expedition. But I don't have a job offer and/or a emergency situation. So I guess representatives can only help on the expedition process?!

TBH I don't know if contacting our senator was the turning point of our approval, they didn't request any documentation from us we filled her form, printed out and mailed it to her office. https://www.harris.senate.gov/services/help-with-a-federal-agency

That was our case, I don't know how yours can be expedited. We just did that, we didn't expedite through USCIS. She might have done something, we don't know. It might also be that our case just got approved like everyone else.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have similar process?

I am an August 2018 filer of AoS with EAD and AP from K1. I got RFE in early December 2018, responded to it in February, and our case restarted on March 5.

I am just waiting for something happen or get EAD and AP but I’m now worried about if I get another RFE to submit medical record or vaccinations record, 2018 tax return and so on due to the case was once suspended and even if I submitted in August 2018. My medical record is from K1 which I took in February 2017.

I’m feeling crazy for that I cant work over a year, and this long and terrible process will make our future worse!

As long as you filed AOS within 365 days of the medical exam date, your medical is still valid regardless of when you are interviewed.

Thank you!

Oh i just noticed that I wrote wrong, my medical is in February 2018!

You applied for AOS in August 2018 and did your medical in February so you still followed the criteria.
