Can you clarifying what you are waiting for....

Your timeline states you have a GC already thus cancelling out your EAD and AP.

Sorry, my timeline refers to my wife and step-daughter.  My step-son's timeline is @Bin'sAOS2018.  My wife and her daughter have their green cards, but her son filed for AOS/EAD/AP separately because he "followed to join" 6 months after his mother.  We applied for his AOS/EAD/AP in December with a 12/27/2018 NOA1.  He had a biometrics appointment on February 4 and a second biometrics appointment in late May, but there has been no change in his online status (at either USCIS case status website) since the 12/27 NOA1. - Jason

Great news my EAD status changed to card is being produced. My NOA1 date is December 19th.

The funny thing is our green card interview is today, so this does not help us too much but it is great news for December filers.

Though it is good to have the social security card updated with my wives new last name before getting the green card.

Just got back from the interview and everything went well. It was an hour long and the questions were easy.

However, the lady said we may get an RFE due to the medical signature to approve my wives vaccinations. We were really confused because my wife got the medical in September and we thought it was good for a year.

After reading online it seems starting November 1st. The medical signature is good only 60 days before applying. I am angry I did not notice that change in policy since we applied in December.

Hopefully the RFE comes quickly and we can fix that issue fast.

Thank got our EAD was approved today just in case.

Does everyone need to do another medical before the AOS interview?!

It appears the civil surgeons signature is good for up to 60 days. If you applied within that 60 days then the I-693 is valid for 2 years. Before the signature was good for a year but the I-693 was valid for 1 year.

I filed the I-693 about 90 days after my wife got the civil surgeons signature so it may not have been valid anymore.

I will definitely follow up here when I get the official RFE.

What you are reading online is for AOS applicants who have not filed AOS within one year of their overseas medical date. The I693 does not apply to K1s unless the IO determines that they need to redo the medical exam for some strange (and usually an incorrect reason because they do not understand the DS302X forms).

Likely the Panel Physician did not fill out/sign her DS3025 correctly.Screenshot_20190701-120554_Chrome.thumb.jpg.8965ba35424b06f415c100d37df9400a.jpg

This is not relevant to the OPs situation as they completed the medical requirements abroad on a DS302X series of forms. The I693 policy does not apply to K1s.

Sorry to create confusion.

I hope the officer was incorrect maybe and we do not get an RFE.

Thank you for your response. I am still preparing for an RFE obviously but you gave me some hope that maybe she was wrong.

As mentioned before our EAD was approved so thank god for that just in case.

196 days; no changes since Dec 17, 2018 🤯

i-485: Fingerprint Fee was received

i-765: Case was received

i-131: Case was received

I've seen some Oct/Nov filers are into 230+ days before they hear anything..

Any of Dec filers with the same processing notifications as me?

Thanks everyone for the clarification on the medical thing. I started to panic, even though I know I've done my research and haven't seen anything about K1'ers needing another one. 😅

Well the IOs judgement is final. Whether they know how to read the DS302X forms or not. Hopefully she made an error and misspoke at your interview. If you followed all of the procedure above concerning your medical exam results then you SHOULD be fine but if the IO reads them the way they want to then it wont be up to you.

I am still kind of confused by your post though in this part. Did she actually redo her medical in the US and have a US Civil Surgeon sign off on an I693 after completing her medical and vaccines abroad? The medical examiners abroad are referred to as Panel Physicians and dont complete I693s at all. If the below is true then the IO WILL go by the I693 policy and procedure.

" I filed the I-693 about 90 days after my wife got the civil surgeons signature so it may not have been valid anymore".

We did not redo any medical exams in America, her exam was in Colombia in September.

I am sorry for any confusion, I was in panic researching haha maybe not the best idea. I guess that happens when you are hit with a curve ball at the interview.

Got it this time, lol.

This still stands then:

Await the IOs judgement then. Hopefully they misinterpreted her prior medical exam results.

We’re in a similar position. No changes on combo card since Dec 17, 2018 - 197 days today 😩

Our only difference is I-485: case is ready to be scheduled for an interview (as of 18 days ago). While it was good to see a sign of life which shows some movement, our LFO is New York and their estimated timeline is 20.5 to 35.5 months so it’s not exactly cause for celebration.

We’re still hoping and wishing for the EAD/AP!

Same situation.

204 days from my EAD/AP's Noa1.

Only difference, in May my i-485 case status changed to "Case Ready to Be scheduled for an interview ". But the wait is still long, since my office is one of the slowest.
