Just curious how long it took for you to change from "Interview is ready to be scheduled" to "Interview is scheduled"?

It mostly depends on your local office. I was checking the immigration timelines, and even though I know not all applicants for I485 are registered here on visajourney, I was trying to find a pattern. It is hard to predict. Also, found some couples that applied after us and they expedited their I485 and got their interview already.

Mine was 'Ready to be scheduled' since March 20th. No news, but got my combo card in April.

Guys, I'm seriously at my breaking point ☹️ 200 days since NOA, no movement on AP or EAD and AOS has been on 'Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview' status since May 1st (processing time at our office is 12-22 months. The wait has really caused my husband and I to fight a lot more because I'm just sooo done with sitting at home and feeling like I'm wasting my life away...plus it's a bit of a struggle financially. Just wish I didn't know about these lucky ones from February and March filers who have received their combo cards and green cards already 😌 how do you all keep your spirit up?

Dont give up so easily! I know its easier said than done. But we all suffer, including the petitioner. We all want this to end so quickly, but with immigration it's anybodys guess... based on your timeline you are due anyday now for your Advance Parole and Work permit! Dont give up! My wife took on gardening and cooking to ease her time at home, we now have 4 huge squash plants and 2 cucumber and a ton of beautiful flowers and goes to buy food on a daily basis she had almost forgot she was waiting for our interview. It will come! Best of wishes from Texas!!!

we did an expedite for the EAD/AP that (maybe..) made them open up our file. because literally after i sent all the docs for expedite the following day we had movement on our 485 (interview ready to be scheduled)... and 2 days later interview scheduled.. no idea if it had anything to do with EAD/AP expedite.. but judging by the case tracker app. A LOT of people are now getting interviews scheduled from December.

This gives me hope, as we're planning to contact our congressman soon about getting AP/EAD expedited.

But at the same time, I don't mind waiting for the interview and green card if I could just get AP/EAD

Interview scheduled for July 26th. No EAD or SSN.

If I submitted photos, bank statements, gift receipts, screenshots, phone bill statements etc with my AOS, do I have to bring them AGAIN to the interview (same ones), or only bring new evidence I didn't already send?

AoS Timeline:

12/12/18 Mailed AoS + EAD + AP

12/14/18 Package delivered at Chicago Lockbox

Omg! I totally get how you feel. I do understand how the process works but sometimes it made me so sad when I see someone in February and March filer group got combo cards. I always keep myself busy but I'm so ready to start working too. I really want to help my husband paying bills and stuff.

I just wanted you to know that we're here together so don't give up and don't fight with your husband too much because he is the reason why you moved here. Cheer up!

It is awful to know about others being approved so quickly; it can really make your blood boil. My advice would be: avoid checking it at all costs, as it does no good. Stick to USCIS updates, including the date when you can finally make an inquiry on your case.

On another note, I saw an old post from November where you inquired regarding your vaccinations records. Indeed it should be marked on part 2, as you completed the vaccinations requirements. If you haven't sorted it out already, maybe you could look into it now.

In the meantime, you could study something online or do some handiwork around your house.

Just know you're not alone in this wait. Hope you get some good news soon.

Thank you! I got the vaccination record sorted out but I know that my office will ask for a new one when it's time for interview. I have been keeping myself as busy as possible including volunteering 2-3 times a week and making sure our home is immaculate but obviously it's a big change going from university/work life to a stay-at-home wife😂 The wait has caused me to get slightly depressed which in return has made us argue more and I know I'm being super unfair to my husband. After all, I love him more than anything and he works sooo hard to provide for both of us right now. I guess I just needed to feel that I'm not alone. Thank you again!
