I sent my AOS (from B2 visa) today 12/12/18 via USPS.

I'm nervous as I overstayed and didn't use as lawyer but I've prepared everything for the last 2 months and know I should be fine. 😅

Good luck to everyone!

Yeah it’s my 2nd marriage, first one we broke up before I filed for AOS. I’ve been b-2 overstayed since 6/17/2014 so I’ve been waiting for this for a looooong time 🤩

I am from B2:)  ( long overstayer). I have a good lawyer just in case and always can call and ask, but I did all my documents by myself because lawyer said it will be waste of money in my situation haha:) but if i need some help, I can just pay for an hour or two. But she didnt want to take my easy case ( i have nothing exept overstay).

I just arrived here in the US in June, but I’ve been coming back and forth from here to my home country a handful of times already for vacation, even before I met my husband. That’s good that you have a lawyer you can just call anytime, I was also considering getting one but all of the immiration law firms I called advised me that I wouldn’t really be needing one as I did not really overstay before my husband and I decided we wanted to move forward with our relationship and get married.

Also, I don’t see why it would be prohibited on this forum.

Lol it's not that B2s arent liked....

Not saying any of you but it's just alot of the time ppl use the B2 fraudulently. Ie they bypass the legal way to enter the US to marry their partner by entering as a tourist and then adjust status knowing full and well their intentions were to get married in the first place and they get away with it.

That's not fair to the rest who've waited years to do it right. That's why B2'ers will usually get a side eye.

Of course you're welcome here! If you used your B2 with ill intentions though, just keep it to yourself😉

Hey everyone! I'm still working on our aos application and hoping to send it real soon. But I have a question I hope someone can help me. Is there a list of requirements needed for aos, ead and ap. I mean I've been searching and all, I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything correctly. TIA😊😊😊

I am sorry, but I have been plenty times in US just visiting and not knowing anybody there and marriage on B2 was the last thing on my mind. But life happens. I will prefer not to share my story. Sorry if some people think that people on B2 just using their visa fraudulently. I never encourage people come and stay here on B2.

At least my relationsip with my busband are more real than anybodys else, who visit their SO once then do K-1 and then has a lot problems in their relationship and crying all over on this forum:)

I would not say that, but I feel like I am not welcomed here..

For example, if my visa bothering you, just dont send me any messages and dont answer, I will do the same. Done.

I was actually being sincere and welcoming you. I was just explaining why sometimes you might get the sh!t end of the stick in these forums. Ppl are closed minded and just assume the worst off the bat.

I was being sincere though 🤷‍♀️

Hi there! Is your check/payment encashed yet? They received mine last Nov. 30 and cheque cashed last Dec. 6. I received the physical NOA1s yesterday. You can use my timeline as a basis. Don't worry, you will receive a feedback soon.
