USCIS Email received stating we sent your case to NVC on: 2018-08-20 (Email received: 2018-09-13)

NVC Received Case: 2018-08-27-Date received by phone call to NVC-advice given to call NVC 7 days after case sent to NVC

Called and also emailed NVC to ask question about New Requirement for Police Certificate Effective Sept 10th: 2018-09-07, was advised would take 8 weeks for case number from date received at NVC. (Only took 3 weeks)

Received Case number: 2018-09-18-Email Received 

Received AOS & IV Bill: 2018-09-18-Email Received

Paid AOS & IV Bills: 2018-10-09

CEAC website shows AOS & IV as "Paid":  2018-10-11 (2 business days) 

IV Application (DS260) completed: 2018-11-01

Submitted AOS & IV Documents: 2018-11-04

Case Complete: 2018-11-09 

Interview date received by phone call and email: 2018-12-17

Interview Date: Jan 25, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. 

Interview Complete: APPROVED ! 🙂🙂

Passport/Visa received at home address in BC: 2019-02-01

Hello everyone, im in need of some information. I have started this process Aug 2017....finally at nvc stage. When my husbamd called he was told my case was complete but we didnt receive any email and status say submitt documents 1. 2.  They are asking that my son pays AOS fees before his case can be reviewdled but it is of my understanding there is only 1 AOS Fees being that my husband is a USC. is this correct or am iissing something. Both our documents were submitted in one envelope to nvc

Yes. Did paid online everything $445 on Dec 5 then uploaded AOS And Emailed other documents on Dec 7. Actually my lawyer did that. 

I don’t know how long it takes to close case. May be by end of this month. This wait is killing me. Just give me Appointment lol.

Lol nice man .I am still waiting for my case number hopefully they will give me before Christmas .Mumbai consulate taking long time to assign interview appointments,normal average time is like one and half month to two months after cc.You gonna be done by January/February and our gonna go till Feb/march

Omg so happy, I was planning to call tomorrow to ask my case and invoice ID but when I checked my email now, I found email from NVC which was sent this morning. Took almost 6 weeks since case was received.

Thanks a lot. Yeah,  that's the number,  i just wanted to make sure there were no other number. I will try later tonight and hopefully I'll get the chance to select those options.

@Xia thought option 1 then 5 would get me someone in about 5 minutes... 🤣🤣waited for an hr then got frustrated and hang up.

I called 3 days, on the 3rd day I got someone after 20 mins. First two days I waited 20 mins and hung up. I pressed 1 then 7 though.

 

I finally got my NVC case number today. NVC received the case from USICS on Oct 30th. Will pay the fee tonight and gather all the documents.

NVC case created Nov27, case# and invoice# received by email.

 

about to pay my first invoice but seems like we have tax filing problem to figure it out!
