NVC Filers - December 2018

26 days now since we uploaded-submitted my stepson's documents, 15 days now since we uploaded-submitted the rfe requesting my divorce decree for him, yet my daughters documents were accepted in only 11 days, both kids have identical documents (specific for their names of course, eg: birth cert) so I dont understand whats the holdup with my sons documents not accepted yet. Other people who had rfe requesting missing documents were accepted and case closed in 21 days since initial submitted date, why is our sons documents taking so long!

Have tried to call NVC? Maybe it’s because of the holidays.

We called nvc, they just auto-respond with "your case is still being reviewed, it takes 8-12 weeks for documents to be reviewed and accepted", which we all know is BS lies.

To speak with a person put option 1 and then 7. The wait is short if you call after 10pm

just wanted to post here...been lurking for a bit...joined the nvc group on 12/7 and just got my email of case number...details are in sig...oh and sry to shan2019 borrowed ur sig format...

We choose option 1 (english), then option 5 (we were told by a rep at opt 7 we need to choose opt 5 since we are pivot case), and I always call between 10:00pm - 10:45pm eastern. The reps are useless, its like they read from a script of auto-responses

wow this is fast ,i have been waiting for over 6 weeks and no case number yet.

I’ve been waiting for 7 weeks now and no case number from NVC. they recieved it nov. 7th. So frustrating

I waited 9 weeks. Hope it comes soon I know the frustration been there

Ugh such a long time  I just wish I knew what order they process cases in because some people get their number before others who have been waiting longer. It just doesn’t make any sense!!!!

I don't understand. My case was transferred on 5th of November have not received case number yet. Pls how do you do it

Oh my, it is taking long. Im also waiting for them to re-review my resubmitted documents. They only need to review like 4 documents left, the rest are accepted already. 😐

From NOA2 it took us 7.5 weeks  (53 days) to get a case number assigned

 

2018-10-01  ●  USCIS: NOA2 Petition approved

2018-11-23  ●  NVC: Embassy Case Number Created
