Ok thanks, yes i was able to download my tax transcripts from IRS website. I had tax returns but someone told me that we need to provide them transcripts, its just kind of summary of taxes and was easy to download .I thought i have to requested those from IRS through mail.

It’s always good as much you can provide them. The more proofs you provide, the stronger your case will be. Once the case is closed.....that’s it no more checking of any documents :)

Uploaded everything Dec 13th. Please update if you hear anything on your case.

Will do. Nothing yet. I keep checking the ceac status and it still says “action required...”

I thought about calling NVC these days as well. Hopefully we will have CC before NYE!

I am really hoping for case to be closed before new year but when i log into CEAC, still says 'submitted' and nothing else so not sure, i guess we just have to wait.

Takes about 10 - 14 days to case close. Yes it did showed me “submit documents” even after I did submit everything until Case was closed.

uploaded all the documents to CEAC website and submitted on Dec 12, really hoping to get response by NYE. thinking to call today to ask if we need to send all documents by email too, btw our wl email specifically said not to send any docs by MAIL and instructed to follow instruction on how to upload docs, but nothing about sending doc by emails.

anyone who got CC with only docs uploaded without sending doc by e-mail?

Just called NVC. Pressed options 1 and 7. They said they’re still reviewing our case and it can take up to 3 weeks to receive our CC from the date we sent everything.

It depends on Case to Case and consulate where the applicant will be interviewed. Some people have to upload, some email and some mail. I would call NVC and ask them status of case and ask if they got everything they needed.

Hey Guys,

I just called NVC after an hour long wait 😐 it connected. So for the people who are uploading everything to CEAC does not need to worry about status shown in

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

because it does not apply to them.

Wait for 3 weeks after submission of all the documents in CEAC.

Uploaded everything by Dec 21st. Seems like the status is not working correctly, it should not suppose to say upload documents even after we have uploaded required documents. Thanks for confirming :)

We only uploaded all documents, did not email or mail, my daughters documents were accepted and we receive an email from nvc stating they are working with the embassy to schedule her interview date, so I assume her case is closed.
