What is the difference in the immigration application fee paid while I filed ds-260 at Nvc stage and the uscis immigrant visa fee?

 

Does that mean I have to pay another fee after my visa interview?

My case was expedited through USCIS (with the help of my senator!)- after 3 months due to an urgent medical matter. Then we got to NVC about 3 weeks ago and she requested an expedite again. Our expedite request was sent two weeks ago to LAGOS. No response! Literally nothing. I have no idea what is going on with the Lagos embassy but the matter should be investigated.

I jut received email for my interview date! Thanks God! Hope this gives hope to those who are still waiting for a Jan interview as they are still scheduling 🙏
