Case Complete to Interview January 2019

Hopefully something moves this week, been waiting since 10/19(cc) for an interview form Mumbai consulate for CR1 visa.

Anyone else from that time period get an interview date for Mumbai?

I’m sure you’ll hear from them this week. You are almost through with the 90 days maximum for interview date. My CC was October 12 so I guess I have one more month to go that is if NVC is going by their 60 to 90 days rule 

Hoping we hear from them this week or  next week before the holiday approach

I don't want to sound pessimistic but this is on basis of my research and experience over the last one year of the case complete to interview progress. 

Most likely time during which you can expect to receive interview dates is the last week of month (Usually 26th -28th of the month). This pattern was followed during the abnormal last month as well. And apparently that time of  the month is over and if my hypothesis holds true we are looking at December end now with February interview dates.

Only thing which suggests that we might get interview dates this week is that very few interviews have been scheduled till now.

Interview scheduled!!!!

 

We called our assigned embassy today if there’s anything else we need to do but waiting for an interview, as our case has been expedited and transferred to the embassy. They immediately sent an email for us to send an interview request. Within 15 minutes, we received the interview letter email according to our preferred week. Exactly a week from today!!! Even the medical exam result is here in less than a week. 

 

We waited 8 months just for our NOA2, it’s finally moving along after we fired our attorney.

I hope to receive a CC soon and then slot in for early Jan interview. My prayers and thoughts go to all who are still waiting and a smooth process for those going through the interview!
