hello guys whats going on any interview app for nigeria yet @Possible18

I’m still waiting my brother.  I contacted my congressman this morning as another fellow Nigerian adviced us to do yesterday.  I’m waiting to see if that will do it.  I honestly think they skipped us.

@Ajitob @Kanene @C & ja CC in August also...it's a good idea going the Congressman route.. because we really need intervention here...I do not think they will ask for other people information.. I will check it out this week..OMG we have suffered in the hands of NVC/ Lagos embassy.. however let us continue to pray n keep the faith...all our setbacks will end in praises.. God almighty knows what he is doing..

Something is definitely not right. I’m surprised u guys r still waiting for interview dates. Please follow up with d congressman route and mayb also try sending in an expedite request again using another angle.

my husband wrote to them that our rent in Nigeria was expiring end of nov and that he also wanted us to be in the US for thanksgiving wen he sent in our expedite request. We provided the tenancy agreement as proof. We were scheduled about a week later. We really don’t know if that’s wat worked for us because we never got any response of approval or denial of the request.

I think I was right behind you.  My cc was 8/8/18 and yours was 8/6/18 if I remember correctly.

I also contacted my congresswoman ..as well as sending another email to nvc supervisor to intervene in the scheduling dept ..because there is a glitch somewhere ..whereby it needs to be fixed..how can they skipped us..or forgot about us..it does not add up.

Did you get an email address for the supervisor by calling NVC?

 No

 I sent to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

Subject: need intervention on my case

With instruction "please forward my inquiry to NVC head supervisor..", hope it will work ..

My fellow Lagos applicants, in addition to contacting Congress, another thing you can do is call the Embassy and let them know that you have been skipped. Inform them that people with November CC have received their dates and you need to speak with a supervisor

Oh, great! Do they respond to calls like the NVC? Thanks.

Yes they do but it's Nigeria customer service so get ready for their wahala. Try to get a sympathetic one on the phone and plead your case. No do gra gra just dey beg dey go until you get what you want. I believe it's fixable on that level before even getting to the Senate level, no harm in trying anything at this point
