My CC was 10/29 for an Immideate Relative 1 (IR-1) Visa.

But still waiting for my wife's interview in Juarez.

The CC email from NVC states that the time frame is around 3 months for the interview to be scheduled. Hoping it's sooner

Dont expect it too soon and avoid yourself lots of stress anxiety and depression. I speak from experience. It took Juarez 8 months to schedule my interview. Right before summer they started to really get backlogged.

Hi folks -

We received interview date email yesterday (Friday). The interview is scheduled for 25-Jan-2019 at Mumbai Consulate, INDIA. This is IR5 case for mom and dad. PD: 21-Sep-2017, CC 14-Nov-2018. I sincerely wish good luck to all who are still waiting. I will update the excel and also update here as we proceed further.

Hello all. Been reading these forums for some time now. Happy to write that we got interview email yesterday for Mumbai consulate (IR5) for parents.

PD 12/2017

CC: 10/21/2018

Interview date: Jan 8th 2019....short notice, but its fine

Sincerely wishing you all get interviews fast.

Given the PDs of all who have so far received interviews at Mumbai Consulate, it does appear as if the PD + CC date is considered when granting interviews. The good thing is that Dec 2017 folks are getting interview dates, so 2018 PDs should not be far behind.

NVC automated scheduling is going by the priority date - There are ample data points now to confirm that. The NVC misinformation agents keep repeating CC - its a training problem and no one cares to correct it. Will need to escalate this one to the NVC Director Philip Slattery since the phone line supervisors are equally in the dark.

@willcrack I see your PD is 2/23/18 mine is 2/20 and CC 11/7 I saw one person with PD 2/5/18 and CC 10/24/18 get an Interview for December.  What do you think our chances of getting an interview date in February are?

You HAVE to be at the top of the list at NVC of people waiting for a interview date or something went wrong because people with a later PD AND CC date are getting their interview dates.

Given the unfairness and randomness of the interview scheduling - I have given up guessing and am taking up escalation through other means... PM me if you'd like the details.

BTW can you point me to the VJ handle of the person with an October CC that has a December interview which you mentioned?

Hello All, has anyone spoke to NVC today to find out if they are still scheduling Jan interviews or they are done doing it? I feel like calling but not sure if I want to wait 30mins to have someone answer my call and then tell me they are done 🤭

I did not speak today but NVC told me Friday night that they are done with Jan scheduling.

OK. Who knows what is true and what is not. All of us are simply trying to help each other and keep the hope going. I may be completely wrong as you say. I was only speculating based on my observations of PD + CC. There isn't a ton of date to be predicting accurately.

Hope you get your interview date soon. And good luck.
