Hey everyone!

Just popping by to say we are on board for the December filers too! We submitted the package through UPS on December 26th and it told us that it has been delivered on January 2nd.

Still waiting for the NOA1, but reading that most of you are getting text messages now gives me hope and tames my anxiety thinking I did something wrong...

Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!!

🤩

You will get it next week for sure...👌🏾

Its crazy.  This should be a forum of support and someone always has something negative to say.  K am not going to let you deter me though...its not about luck.. and i get things done ...its what i do...i reallt need to practice law

🤷🏾‍♀️

I think your comments are way out of line. @Sarge2155 has been here for others and always has nothing but positive things to say and he has a similar outlook that mirror's mine on this process and we'll give you a dose of reality from time to time. You may not like it but hey, it's what we see from past history. Can you imagine the angst that one would have if you are 240 plus days into this and all around you others with much shorter wait times is getting their NOA2? So you talk about support, it's a two way street.

Let's not turn this in to an argument. You have your opinion and your expectations and they are valid. He has his experience that he is sharing with you so you have a clearer idea what to expect. I see nothing wrong with that.

This is a forum of support I was just trying to give that to you, but it's ok I'll be sure to avoid answering or giving my opinion to you in the future. Nothing I said was meant to deter you in any fashion. Enjoy your journey here.

Ok. I dont want to go back and forth...i have been on this website for sometime...and people are quite rude on here. I am not an idiot and i know how immigration works...ofcourse things dont always happen as planned...but to personally attack me and tell me i am out of line and my expectations are too high...i will not allow that.  People can agree to disagree but it needs to be done respectfully....social media is a complete disaster for communication because everyone wants to be right in their opinion and want to convince others to think like them...i am fully aware of everything that comes along with this process...and futhermore i have been a government employee...so i understand backlog and all of the weird processes that happen with government functions. That is my point. I am always here to spread encouragement...not to attack folks because we already have high anxiety...anyway on a lighter note...just for you.."wheres my NOA2?"😂😂

My fiancee recieved our NOA1 in the post today. I don't know if we have to verify our details anywhere or do anything else at this point.

At this point your fiancee won't hear anything from USCIS for several months, so sit back and enjoy the forum. You could update your time line that would be a great help to you when you ask a question.

Received the NOA1 in the mail today. Will my beneficiary (fiancé) be receiving the same letter in her country?

Everything up to the case number (NOA1, NOA2 & CN#) will be sent to the petitioner. Why, because these items are direct replys to the petitioner's submission of a bonified application for a K-1 visa. Now, When the case arrives at the Embassy then all correspondence is directed to the beneficiary.

If you want NVC to include her in mailings then use the information contained on the first page of this thread.

Hello! My fiance told me that the 535 filing fee has been deducted in his account upon checking today. Although he has not receive a text notification yet. Anyway, I also updated my timeline :)

For now we are just waiting for our NOA 1 to arrive in the mail and the text message from USCIS regarding the check being cashed.

USCIS does not inform you when they cash your  check, but only that they received  your application.
