One doesn't affect the other. VJ is not part of the US government. You can say your from Croatia and it wouldn't have any affect on anything. Do as you will.

Anyway...hoping for a text soon..the first time i filed with rapidvisa...but this time i realized that i was only wasting money...so i filed myself...since i gave rapidvisa everyhing to ile anyway....i just paid them to mail it.🤦🏾‍♀️

Typical response for receipt is within the 2-4 week time period following the submittal and check cashing. Your submittal is going as planned and is normal. Nothing to worry about.

Can each of you help us out. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Hi I'll be completing my profile once I have time this week. Thanks for all the feedback. Really appreciate it.

Just an update though our check has not yet been encashed as of today.

Got my text just now...thanks! ❤

And you only had to wait an additional day. My My My see what patience can do for your anxiety. Now be aware, you will not see something for another 6-8 months so please don't be in here on Monday wondering where your NOA2 is. Congrats.

I don't want to bust your bubble, but you are setting the bar way to high. I did the same thing and all my stuff was  and still is in order. I do hope you are one of the lucky ones and you get approved in the 4.5 months, but be advised a few in every month  are always left behind or should I say have lengthy times between their NOA1 and NOA2. So hope for the best and prepare for the worst if you do that it will go a long way in your mental and emotional well being. Just my opinion and first hand experience. Congrats on your NOA1.

Hey everyone!

Just popping by to say we are on board for the December filers too! We submitted the package through UPS on December 26th and it told us that it has been delivered on January 2nd.

Still waiting for the NOA1, but reading that most of you are getting text messages now gives me hope and tames my anxiety thinking I did something wrong...

Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!!

🤩
