Oh I feel the exact same way. For a country to be marveled as one of the few providers of technological innovations, it feels almost like a slap in the face that their government websites work nearly as little as you buying the lottery and expecting to win.

Perhaps this is just me being in a bad mood and generalizing, but anyone who gets alerted of their approvals through websites/apps/messages/phone calls feel like outliers to me.

I'm almost positive that I'm not lucky enough for that and expect to be notified through snail mail on God knows whatever date. I just hope I won't be part of the 200+ days club.

I feel ya my friend, try not think about going pass 200 days, I know that's hard to do but it'll wear you out thinking about it!!!

Thanks for your advice. My fiancé forgot to check 4a question about criminal records...

Ahh many people forget to check that one, but it is a VERY EASY fix. Don't worry you'll be approved very soon now.

Be careful how you opine on this question.

I simply meant that if he actually really forgot to check the box and did not have a record it would be a easy fix to just check the box no. I guess I did assume that there was no criminal  record and he honestly and simply  forgot the box. But i do understand  what you meant. Not good for me to assume.

Let me rephrase my answer I gave before. Provided he truly has no criminal  records and he truly just  forgot  to check  the box "no" then its a easy fix to check  the box no and send the RFE back in.

I followed your logic but since you didn't go into detail then they would take you literally. That's the area that could cause problems. That question I always post that thread so they think it through before answering. With an RFE you only get one chance to answer.

Waking up on a rainy Sunday in Germany at 5 am never felt so good .. :) WE'RE APPROVED ❤️ Beyond grateful to get our NOA2 so quickly, more than 2 months earlier than we hoped for when we filed in December.

Here's the details:

Sent: Nov 30

Received: Dec 5th

NOA1: Dec 10th

NOA2: April 8th (received hardcopy just now, April 13th in Hawaii)

And no, neither the old or new website nor the app has been updated at any point ;)

Heading over to the NVC thread now, but definitely still going to hang out here as well to check on some of you lovely people who are still waiting!

Congratulations! Still waiting for ours.

Question.  Do you ONLY get one RFE?  Do they review EVERYTHING and then send out the RFE notice?  Or could it be an iterative thing?  For AV's case, if they respond and the USCIS is satisfied on the 4a box matter, could they get a second RFE later indicating he didn't check another box and then it starts all over again?  This part I was always unclear on.

Our lawyer sent our documents to the USCIS on 20th December 2018. Looking forward to getting the first notification!

The same way ours . But we did it on our own. God Bless us and praying for smooth successful process.

From everything I heard and read it should be like that to keep it easy and simple for both USCIS and the petitioner. But not that long ago there's been a topic about getting a second RFE. But I don't remember the exact situation of that case.

They USCIS try to send all shortcomings  at once but they have been known to send multiple  RFEs.

@Oscariom bun It would be helpful later that if you have a question it would be easier for the person trying to answer it if you would fill out your timeline.

Multiple RFEs.  I was hoping there wasn't such a thing.  Today is 4 months exactly for us at USCIS.  You know... when this whole visa journey thing is over for Anna and I... I'm really gonna miss those guys.
