You actually reached an agent ???!!!  What's your secret?

If you are talking about USCIS, I would call and just headphone in one ear while going about my day. I didn't call too many times. Once to inquire about a typo, and submit correction request, once to attempt an expedite when Poroshenko declared military law over the Kerch incident with captured sailors (expedite was denied via e-mail), and once more after I got paper NOA2 to try to clarify the "stuck" online status. It was basically call, follow the prompts to enter WAC number, then I think option 3 to indicate you have a problem, then sit on hold.

Congratulations.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Thank you! Updated!

I checked my status on old site yesterday and it said that we were approved on April 5th.  Last evening, there was a letter waiting for me from Department of Homeland Security and it said the same but the date of notice was 4/4/2019.  Which of of those two is correct date?  Does the date matter anymore now that the application has been approved?

Congratulations. I would use date from the paper notice since it literally says "Notice Date" Please make sure to scan or take really good picture of that NOA2 (I-797) paper as you will need it later, and it is trouble to get if it gets lost.

Desperate, we have had noa1 dec 31st and still no noa2 and saw people with noa1 our day and in january already being approved :(

Feels like the burst of approvals has died down for now. Oh well, all we can do is wait. I have to admit though, it's starting to get to me as well 😶

NOA1 12/18....Although just writing it down makes me feel so entitled to an approval when I know if I get it before the 5-7 month mark, I should be considered lucky. But man....why can't these days just move along faster?

Sorry for my venting.

It's fine you guys, there's plenty of people still waiting :) Our NOA1 is Dec10th if that makes you feel any better? I mean I would be lying if I said I didn't check every day, but it's all gonna happen sooner or later (hopefully sooner haha)! Fingers crossed for all of us to get approved in April ❤️

My NOA1 is 12/14.  I like to see when people get their NOA2 but, when people AFTER me get them, I'm left wondering what I did wrong.  There's nothing all that saucy about my petition.  No huge age difference, not an 'at risk' country, lots of proof.  I took my time with my package, things annotated, very well organized and intuitive.  A chimp from the Harvard Medical School would figure it out in no time at all and grant approval.  And HE would work for peanuts.

They are working for peanuts but they are human. So I am sure, from what I have studied, they pretty much have this figured out. Now the kink in this is you haven't figured it out. You must trust the process. You use the different tools that are available to you to track when "you might" get your approval at the different stages and other then that it's pretty much elementary. This is a game of who has more patience.

O-D. Is it ok for me to vent that members do not update their profiles so others can chime in and help with any questions that the OP has?
