My USC fiancee has filed his taxes for 2018 a few days ago, and he earned around $20,000. Will this be enough to cover both of us on the Affidavit of Support? He is self-employed.

Depends how many are in the household. If you would like to make a comparison to the requirement here is the list. Normally embassy's want 100% and others use 125%. AOS after marriage requires 125%. So it is my recommendation that you compare to the 125% to be safe for both process's. According to the guidelines a family of 2 your USC's income is enough to qualify. Again it is dependent on the Embassy and their requirements.

It's best to find your sub-forum and ask this question as they have "boots" on the ground information. Most in this thread are trying to get their arms around what their embassy requires.

I was no more rude than you were, nevertheless  I just found your post amusing. Perhaps you should take Greenbaum's suggestion!!!

My fiance called today and talked to T2 and ( obviously ) no one looked at our case for now , but reason of calling was to amend a bit my address as tiny thing was missing.. T1 told something about sending a letter but T2 told that they will make a ticket , took correct address and i guess it will be resolved like that?  We are planning to call after a week or so again to check it.

Those of you that have been approved...my question is this...how did you find out you were approved for your NOA2?  Did you get an email?  Did you see it as a message inside your USCIS Account?  Did you get a text?  Or, did you call the USCIS?  I called the USCIS today, but had to wait on hold for 25 minutes only to really find out the normal answer that my K1 is still being processed and they have no RFE needed from me at this time.  So, I am asking how did you find out that you received your NOA2?  Thanks in advance.

Same answer I received Monday as well. Dying to know how the approval will most likely come first! (Mail vs tracker app vs website)

I checked the Case Tracker app obsessively every day, so I was just doing my morning check and saw it was approved on there.  I then logged into my.uscis.gov and it also said status approved, a letter is coming in the mail.  Then late that evening, I got an text message from USCIS that says "your status has changed, please log in for more info".  😎

Wow your notifications were on the ball. Works for some people yet others it does not. I never got any notifications! USCIS website still shows "Case Received."

Sane people  will wait till a hard copy is mailed to them. Crazy people call every day. Calling doesn't speed up the process nor does it slow it down.  When you call and hear it's been approved you now sit for a month till it arrives at NVC. Still nothing you can do if you call. Same place. Not a wise use of your time in my opinion.

Yes a 2-person household, just me and him. Because his income is over the 100% but under the 125% will this be a problem in obtaining my K1 visa? Do they want to see 125%?

Each embassy is different and I have no information on what UK accepts. Try in the sub-forum for the UK http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/  They are more apt to know those details.
