December 2018 I-129F (K1) Filers

I actually read in a K1 visa support group on Facebook that a couple filed last November 23 2018 and they recently got approved. (Approximately 1 and 1/2 month) of waiting for NOA 2.

She said all they did was to send a follow up letter to USCIS but the catch is her fiance knows someone from USCIS.  She said her petitioner met with that person to help them speed up their application approval.

I guess things really run faster if you have connections...

Thoughts anyone?

Any thing is possible I suppose with the level of secret deals in the government, but remember the saying "anything done in the dark, has a way of coming to the light." Not really a good way to start a new relationship bucking the system and also not a good way to go through your relationship always waiting always wondering when you'll get caught and if things will come to the light. I think they have checks and balances in place for that very sort of thing. Those are MY thoughts you asked for and if i had my choice I'd rather wait until USCIS decides to approve my case rather than wonder if I'll ever get caught years later.

Greetings! We submitted our I-129f on December 4 and got our NOA1 on December 6 (2018). We are currently waiting for our NOA2 like everyone else here I assume. I just read that the first September filers got their NOA2s, so that's good news!

I have a question: How early can I have my medical done? Where can I find what I need to have done for my medical and where to have it done (I'll be going to the US embassy in Stockholm, Sweden for my interview)? Thanks for any help!!

Can you please complete your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I actually already filled out my profile a couple of days ago, with complete timeline of J and K visas for me, along with embassy and 212e waivers, profile picture and nationality. I don't know why it's not showing.

When you have time just revisit the instructions in my post that are in red. Following those should get this done for you. Everyone else that ask will eventually arrive at the completed profile even those who replied same as you.

Wow, December filers are feisty!! @Greenbaum and @Sarge2155, I am sure that I'm not the only one in these forums who seriously appreciates all your amazing help and advice! Maybe it's just the stress from this process that makes people seem unappreciative, but people should remember that you are taking time from your busy daily lives to help people that you don't even know personally. Thank you!

But I understand the stress, if you'll look at my time line you'll see what I'm talking  about, but I hold no malice against anyone even if they disagree. I understand the tremendous amounts of stress we are under some more than others. It's all good though. Go December 2018 filers!!!!!!

It can be a thankless job. But all the same, I do have those, like yourself that offer their appreciation. Thank you. :D

I just found out about this page 2 days ago. As you can see by my profile picture, I have obviously tried to fix my profile. I am currently making myself familiar with the site and the different threads, and finally decided to post in this group for the first time. I would have appreciated that my first response didn't include "please update you profile", as if you'd already asked me to do it 100 times. I'm getting there. So aggressive.

Did you mean to direct your reply to me? I made reference to MY timeline only to show  how  long  I have been waiting. I never asked you about your timeline  completed or not! Perhaps you should re read the comments  made. Additionally  my first comments  to you was to say welcome to the thread and congrats.
