so i noticed today my timeline has been updated.  My original adjudicated was June, now it says April 30th.  Are things moving faster?  Any other people have that estimate status move up?

I know its not alot, but a month is a month in the waiting game :)

The timeline of adjudication is a flow and ebb process. Currently the time is changing to a much faster process then what was reported one or even two months ago. Be happy.

Okay, I know I should tamp down my optimism, but it's just so cool to see how many October filers are getting their NOA2. And a lot of them were late-October filers, too! So maybe we might start getting our NOA2s in April. Crazy. It's such an improvement from last year's NOA1-to-NOA2 averages.

Also, I don't know if this is a self-selection thing, but I noticed that on Igor's List there are just a whole lot more filers in other months than in December. Here on VJ for K-1 couples, there are 105 December filers. That's less than in either January (125), or in November (153). And it's a whole lot less than for October (184), September (181), August (288), and so on. If VJ is even slightly representative of the real caseload the USCIS is handling, then they are gonna have fewer cases on their plate coming up soon. Good news for us, perhaps?

(Of course, I know USCIS staffs up and down depending on caseload, but maybe it's hard to adjust quickly enough -- maybe we will benefit from an abundance of staff that was brought on to deal with the prior backlogs.)

Gahh, okay, back to waiting. This is the kind of speculation I like to indulge in while I'm twiddling my thumbs. :D

Maybe they are in the rush to close the year? :)) As 2019 is piling up already! and I guess they should have some kind of targets or smth.. I really hope to see some of us getting NO2 in April!  Well.. only 4 weeks to find out! Yay!

"Igor's list" is the list of timelines of VisaJourney members. To get there on the desktop site (may be slightly different on mobile), you go the Immigration Timelines link at the top, and then it's in the to of the right-hand column.

Yep, follow DaveAndAnastasia's instructions above. And then I like to play with the drop-down menus at the top. (For instance, changing it from Show: Unapproved Petitions to Show: All Petitions.

Fab, thank you both - that’s made for some very interesting reading! Though I don’t understand why it’s called Igor’s list - I was checking out every profile with ‘Igor’ in it 😂😂.

Probably named after someone who used to put it together manually, but that's just guessing...

Hi everyone!

So, I’ve been stalking the November 18 filers thread and some of them have started getting their NOA2s (lots of October filers are also getting them/have got them already)...exciting that early November, non-expedited filers are starting to get them though...in a month, maybe we’ll start too! 😍

Congrats
