So my faincee is coming soon, (hopefully). She really wants her Mother and maybe her brother to come to the wedding, but that would be a lot of money on plane tickets and tourist visas.

So I've been doing some looking at us just going back to Indonesia after we get married and start her Adjustment of Status, I've read some stuff online about how you can only get Advance Parole if it's an emergency, other sites say that can get it for a honeymoon.

So would it be possible for us to get that AP? How long would it take? about 3 months?

Any help would be awesome!

It's automatic but current processing times are 5-6 months. You may get your greencard before your AP depending on your location.

Also, you need to file for Advanced Parole WITH the Adjustment of Status form. So after you file the AOS and AP together, it will be about 4-7 months.

AP due to a pending I-485 is routinely approved so long as you provide a proper filing. No need for an emergency.

ETA:  ~4-6 months on average starting from AOS + EAD + AP filing

Emergency AP does not cover honeymoons. It's for emergencies.

Don't make any firm plans until AP (or a green card) is in hand.

AP is free to apply for bit as other have mentioned not quick.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
