Sponsor: own i864

Co sponsor: own i864.

The ONLY way an I864a is used is if your co-sponsor lives in the same household as the sponsor. In THAT CASE ONLY:

Sponsor: own i864

Co-sponsor: own i864a

Seconded (in intent)...

Except that it's a joint sponsor for an I-864, not co-sponsor. Also, an I-864A is for a household member agreement with a sponsor, not for being a co-sponsor/joint sponsor. The biggest difference is that you can combine incomes and have I-864As, whereas just 1 qualified joint sponsor applies and they cannot combine incomes with another sponsor's I-864.
