Congrats on having passed the Medical, and soon I am sure many will reply to your questions on the Interview. It would be best to post on the manila thread to get a quicker reply, and to follow those who have done the same.

Hi alex n lyn, you know what I went in there too, lost a lot of sleep and no matter what I do didnt help me cuz the frustration level just kept building up, but soon as I got in the embassy it went away. I'll advice you to double check your paper work so you wont have problems while your there and pray hard.

Congratulations you passed the medical and goodluck on your upcoming interview

Hello!congratulations!Dont worry, the interview wont take a while...In my case it only took less than 15 mins....Actually the consul only asked me 1 questin....it wasnt really a question,,,he said " so introduce your fiance to me"....So it covers almost everything right???so i told him everything i know about my fiace, where he;s working, his family background, his childhood...everything uop to his favorite foods and colors.....and of course our love story...Then after that he stamped my application approved.....its easy! But like you, I was also dead nervous,,,which is normal......

And it would really help if you would label all your documents and compile them in a very organize manner... Lets say in one folder labelled "identification" is your birth certificate, nbi clearance, passport, cenomar...etc.....The consul like it when they see you everything is fixed!I must say its a plus!...And with you pictures, dont put it in an album or at least not something that wont bend easily...coz it might not fit thru their window and you might end up destroying your album....hehehe! Good luck to you both!

I just got my interview approved yesterday and here's pieces of advice for you Alex and Lyn based on my experience.

- make sure u got all the required documents.

- organized and label your documents when u present it to the pre-screener and CO.

- wear a smile all the time

- be honest and consistent

- dont be rattled, stay calm

- dont initiate, if u can answer yes or no, the better.

- be presentable on your looks

- be courteous as well

Thats all...hope these will add to your pointers.

Goodluck!!!

One snag in our interview was at the pre-screener window. She asked for all of the expected documents and we were able to provide them quickly. Then she asked for proof of relationship like pictures, email, chat, sms, letters, cards, etc. We had all of that and we had *a lot* of it. The problem is we had so much we had separate folders for each. When she asked for it she didn't want to see a mountain of evidence - just select pictures and samples of other proof. We had to scramble to pick a few out to submit.

I would recommend setting aside some important pics like those of the engagement and/or wedding, ones with family, some together, and then select samples of hand written letters, chat, email, sms, etc. You can always have the bulk of your evidence as backup if you're asked for it. We were not. I hate to think about all the time that went into organizing our proof when it wasn't asked but in the end we got the approval we were looking for so it's all worth it. Good luck!
