ey ! so i have a few questions so my wife is from honduras and we have a baby together , she came here wiith the CAM program , and was cancelled last year , my wife's work per,issiom got expired in april of this year, so we didnt have ;money to apply for the residence instead we applied for another permission, yesterday we got the rrsponse from USCIS that she got denied, how long it takes to get a deportation letter? so we can do the green card application ASAP and and my other question is that I'm on probation for child abusse(long story) could it affect the petition or not ? thank you !

The child abuse issue strikes me as the major issue. I am not certain exactly how the CAM programme works, but understood it could be renewed, begs the question why she was denied, the reason may be relevant.

Agreed...anything involving a possible AWA crime is not DIY. These are extremely difficult cases.

If the crime does actually fall under AWA, there is a very near 0% chance of immigrating to the US. It's not impossible, but it tends to take several years and a very competent lawyer (and associated fees...) to even have a chance of living in the US together.

If the crime does fall under AWA, you may want to consider be the one moving abroad. Being together >>  being in the US.

 

tldr: Get a good lawyer that handles AWA cases.

True. i considered this as well. That said, being a minor at the time, I'm not sure if they would flag his passport as such, nor how other countries involved would treat it. It all really depends on the specifics.

well also i'm not registered as a sexual abuse ,the description might have some "sexual story" but thats it ...even though i will look for some paperwork from the lawyer explaining that
