I'm so frustrated. I submitted a case enquiry at the end of March as my case was FINALLY out of normal processing time. No response for 30 days, so tried to submit another only to find the processing times at Nebraska have changed and now I have to wait another month. Calling gets me nowhere. I've also submitted my information to the ombudsman and nothing has happened there either.

We are also really frustrated. It's been parked at ready to schedule interview Since February of 2020 and we've submitted multiple inquiries with the only response effectively being "sorry things are delayed." Even more frustrating when the processing times show our case should have been resolved a LONG time ago and that others with more recent filings are completing their process ahead of us.

Does anyone know from which date to count 2 weeks if traveled internationally? From the date of receiving notice or from the date of oath ceremony?

This is what is written in notice:

If you are ill, have any symptoms of illness, have traveled outside the United States within the past two weeks or had contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past two weeks, or are at heightened risk due to age or an underlying health condition, call the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 (TTY 1-800-767-1833) as soon as possible.

  • 1 month later...

I just attended my N400 interview. The interviewing officer had my I-751 application in front of him too, so it was effectively a combination interview. I passed the civics test and the officer informed me that once the ROC application was approved, my oath ceremony would be scheduled.

Hey guys, we did out interview on February 24th, so its been 120 days and no update. I did an INFOPASS appointment to get the I-551 stamp, but so far they haven't returned our call. Its been over 14 days since they responded saying they will call. Even their email said it takes 14 days.

I would reach out to your US Senator or congressperson. You filed 12/2018 and had your interview. Hopefully, the US senator or congressperson can shake the tree for you.

Because they said I didn't provide enough evidence of a bona fide marriage even though I originally sent Apartment Leases, Tax Transcripts from the IRS, Utility Bills, Driver's Licenses showing same address, Joint Checking and Savings Bank Statements, Life Insurance Policy,  multiple photos, Travel Itineraries, cards received from family members and friends, social media posts, etc.

I didn't have much more evidence to send in the RFE so I just sent Sworn Affidavits from friends, papers showing we adopted a dog together, other photos not included in my original package, re-sent Tax Transcripts from the IRS and Joint Checking/Savings Bank Statements.

In addition, I had my interview yesterday and the IO claimed there were no Travel Itineraries in my file,  my Joint Checking Bank Statements didn't show co-mingling of our finances, she claimed it only showed my ex-spouse's direct deposits from work (which isn't true because we paid our bills and rent from that account and I deposited money every month in that account). She also claimed that they found out from the DMV that we had separate addresses which also isn't true because we lived in the same apartment together for 8 years straight and never moved, so I have no idea what she's talking about or what other address the DMV could possibly have on file... She concluded the interview by telling me due to COVID she still has a lot of files to review and that I should expect to wait another 90 days MINIMUM before receiving a decision.

I also have a petition to remove conditions on residency with divorce waiver (received date December 2018), waiting for an interview to be scheduled (last update June 2020). My USCIS office is Texas but I might move to Los Angeles for work soon so my case will be transferred to a California Field Office if I move. Have you received a decision on your case yet? I am nervous of moving to another state in this phase of my application but I don't want to miss this career growth opportunity.

I am not surprised...hope you get good news soon. Did she ask any questions about your marriage? Anything specific?

Yes, she asked when was the proposal, how it happened, how many guests did we have at the wedding party, when did we start having problems, why we only went to one counseling session. Also why we didn’t have a mortgage, why didn’t we go on any vacations together (which was a weird question because we did travel and I originally sent in our itineraries/plane tickets. She asked about specific dates too like when/how we met, first date, etc.
