No kids.  Not sure why.  Kinda shocked right now.  We will find out maybe more in the letter they send.

NBC is the service center that prepares i-751 cases for interviews, so anybody who has their i-751 at NBC, or transferred to NBC, shouldn't be surprised when they receive an interview. That's what NBC is all about.

The RFE response you sent in wasn't good enough for them to be sure that your marriage is bonafide, so they have decided that you guys need to be interviewed to determine if your marriage is real or not. That's why your case was transferred to NBC, to be prepared for the interview. When your local field office is ready to schedule an interview, your case will be sent there and you will receive a letter with the location, date and time for the interview.

Thanks!   I just discovered that applications rcvd after 10 Dec 2018 (ours was rcvd on 12 Dec 2018) are now much more like to be called for interview than previously.  So I am a little less stressed about it.   https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/2018/2018-11-30-PM-602-0168-revised-interview-waiver-guidance-for-form-I-751.pdf

My case received Dec 7. But my case was apparently transferred a few days ago and hasn’t been updated to show interview scheduled. Anyone know how I can find out where it was transferred to?

Yes, people who arrived on a CR-1 will now get an interview for ROC, that wasn't always the case before as they could have their interviews waived. It was the same for some K-1ers.

I wouldn't worry about the interview at all if I were you. It'll be easy peasy.

Same for me, it's really getting me down. My case is LIN (Nebraska).

Same, still waiting for any kind of update. Case received December 3 2018, LIN. It’s getting difficult now.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

Yeah, it's a very frustrating situation to be in. Feel free to message me if you ever want to talk.

Ours is also stuck in "ready to schedule interview" limbo. Since February 19. Hoping that ours is at the top of the stack when they return to in-person services in a month or three.

I agree they started off faster than the others but slowed down I’m a Lin filer too and on one site says December 5 th recpt date and on the other it says November 30. So I’m a bit confused but this wait is taking forever 😢😢

Anyone here whose MSC case status is stuck with "Ready to be scheduled for an interview"?  Has anyone seen this status changed with something else without scheduling an interview?

Same here, case received December 7th 2018 and its "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" since April 3rd 2019!!

Just an update:

My case was transferred on 02/03/2020 to a different office. Then, on 02/04/2020 my case was transferred again. These were the updates from case status check. However, it shows that "case was received at my field office" on MyUSCIS update.

I am not sure where my case is now....I do have N-400 pending. Does anyone experience the same updates?

Any update?? I also have n400 with i751 pending
