That’s the main question. I had an interview when I first applied and now hoping to bypass that step. Where did you file? I filed in California Mid December.

Came to US on a CR1.  So no interview by USCIS was previously done.  Filed ROC in Lewiston, TX.

I did. Yes. A conditional green card interview.

I went for I485 first on tourist visa but eventually withdrawn our i485 and went for CR1. We were scheduled for i485 interview, my wife went for interview by herself and explained I am in India now and pursuing CR1 now. They still went ahead and interviewed her and approved my I-130 and transferred it to NVC. So my case is kinda weird. I don't know if I will be interviewed or not.. but even if I am, I am still cool!

Just an update-

I wrote earlier about contacting uscis if you did not receive your biometric appointment letter.

Well, about 2weeks after receiving a reply from them via email I receiced my biometric appointment in mail on Saturday 13th. App scheduled for April 22nd.

So, again, make an inquiry.

Can you guys (who's status is changed to schedule for interview)  just mentioned the last 4 or 5 digit of the case number instead of beginning, if it's safe. I am just curious?

Did you receive a case status update that you were going to receive biometrics? Or did you just ask for biometrics without knowing if you needed it?

Before i made e request there was no update. I didn't check my case status online yet. I did, however, receive an email stating that there is no update to my case....hope that helps.

Hi everyone, i have some question , i saw from december 2018 filers that if you were CR1 or if you didnt have any interviews for AOS 2 year green card , then you are most likely having interview. But the people who are AOS and had interview for 2 years green card (unless something wrong or have doubt) NOT will have an interview . Is that right ?

Yes, I also got my Biometrics appointment on April 30th 2019. Just a side question. On your guys' biometric appointment letter, did it say Code 5? What does it mean? Also, did you guys have anything written under the account number and Social Security Number sections? On my biometrics appointment, the account number and social security number sections were blank despite the fact that I submitted a copy of my SSN card when I filed my I-751......Just wondering what other peoples appointment letter has the same issue.

The code pertains to the type of biometric prints to take such as number of digits and if from one or both hands.  We also had nothing written under account & social security number sections.  It's not an issue.
