Thank you so much! Also should I mail my package by USPS or fedex/dhl?

That's a personal choice.  I used USPS when mailing our I-751 package to the lockbox.

Really, I guess it means if I choose to send it through fedex I should use the fedex address and it will probably arrive quicker than shipping it through USPS.

If you decide on FedEx, you must use the designated FedEx address as they can't deliver to a PO Box.  There is NO evidence that it will arrive quicker by FedEx.  It's a personal choice.

I have a really good experience with Dallas Field Office. I’ve booked an Infopass appointment 2 weeks ago.

I came today, brought along with me GC, driver license, passport, a copy of my submitted  I-751, a flight ticket proof of traveling soon.

Checked in fast and easy. I took an appointment at 7am, being the first one in line. The officer just ask me for 2 ID and then pulled out all of my informations from my A-number. All I need to do is verify question from the officer. Quick and easy, he stamped my passport and told me I-751 right now will take more than 2 years, before this one expires, I should make another appointment and they will give me a new one.

FYI: My GC will expire on Feb 27th. I came in 30days window. I booked infopass at 12am on Monday morning. So keeps trying, check the websites frequently to get your infopass if you needed one.

My A-number and receipt number was written along.

USPS informed delivery shows we have an incoming letter from USCIS National Benefits Center.    Looks like a I-797 notice (extension letter).  From the USPS scan it shows a watermark.  So since I submitted an e-request that I never received a notice, it could be a duplicate as stated in the response to our e-request.  Hoping it is an original though.  Now about anticipation, we are on an international trip for another 2 weeks and our mail is on hold.  So we can't find out the exact contents until we get back.

A little update:

December 5: Packet arrived at Phoenix Lockbox

January 10: Called to get case number (we're at Nebraska service center again), rep tried to transfer us to Tier 2 about not having received extension but never completed the call. Filled out an online request for missing notice.

February 1: Received two ... copies?... in the mail of 18-month extension letter, plus a notice recognizing our request for missing the extension letter.

Can someone please remind me how I know if we received two copies or an original? I read through it and it didn't say anything about it being a copy. But they look pretty crappy, imo...

If it's on non-white paper and you can see a watermark, and if there's no such words listed as duplicate or copy, then I would say it is an original.

Hi! I am filing from NYC and submitted my application 04Jan. When did you submit yours? Thanks!

Hi, @Nycwait!

If you did not get your extension letter within 30 days since USCIS received your application, then file on-line e-Request here: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do and choose option "Did not receive notice by mail".

ROC

12/11/2018 - I-751 mailed (requested a fee waiver) to Lewisville, TX via FedEx

12/13/2018 - package delivered

01/02/2019 - received text message from USCIS with case number starting with EAC

01/12/2019 - submitted online e-Request for non-delivery of NOA (the extension letter)

01/24/2019 - received the response to e-Request via e-mail, which says: "Please allow 30 days from the date of this correspondence for the notice to be sent".

01/28/2019 - received NOA (the extension letter), which extends GC for 18 months

01/29/2019 - received biometrics appointment letter

02/08/2019 - biometrics completed

LOL...yes, 10 months for you.  Last day of December 2019 or first week of Jan 2020 for us.  Looking forward to the day we don't have to deal with USCIS anymore!

Hey guys,

Kinda confused here. Uscis received I-751 & sent text with receipt number on December 28th, called early February due to never recieving anything in the mail & passing 30 days - submitted a request over phone, heard nothing since so called again today & was told id potentially have to wait another 30 days for them to even look at it & even then she said sometimes they don't get a chance to review to re-send extension by then so in 30 days I need to submit another request to even get my extension ... Is that normal?

Wife & myself were slightly concerned but she did tell me it's definitely received so not to worry but still!
