How can this part of the process be so different for each of us, as in correspondence and information given? It’s ridiculous. I thought this bit would be the most straightforward!

They told me they’d already sent out my receipt notice, I still haven’t got it but I did receive my extension letter today so I guess that is my receipt. As long as I have this I’m happy knowing that I can travel back to visit my family.

The receipt notice is the extension letter.

OMG, just saw my USPS informed mails today. It showed me two mails from USCIS. Thank god!! I have no idea why I am so excited.... lol

We received biometrics appointment for Feb 4th. Took a month ± 2 days since I sent the package. 

Still can't even find anything on USCIS website with a receipt number, says doesn't recognize the number

I only got my 18 months extension letter and a letter stating that I made a request for non-delivery of notice over the phone.

Hi guys, even tho I'm a January 2019 filer, I'm looking for a little insight...

 

Received a USPS informed delivery email this morning with an image of a letter from USCIS arriving today. Not sure what it could be... Is it just a hardcopy confirmation that the ROC package was received and assigned a case/receipt number? I can't imagine it would be the extension letter since I've been reading those are really delayed.

 

To add... Is it too early to start worrying that I only saw one letter addressed to my wife and there is nothing for my two stepsons?

 

ROC pkg delivered to USCIS on 1/25, text confirmation on 1/29 and check cashed 1/30.

 

Any comments are welcome 🙂

Not all extension letters are delayed:) 

 

so so could be extension letter or bio.

The receipt notice is also the extension letter.  It's the same thing.  Yes, way too early to start worrying.  It may be the biometric appointment letter.

If it is the extension it would be totally awesome but either one works lol

If they need bio you will get a letter for them also. The extension letter you may or may not get and it may not get there the same time as their moms. If it is their mom's extension letter you got then call on Monday and get the boys case number and a nice reminder that they forgot them.
