My second letter on Saturday was a info that my extension letter is on the way. The info letter arrived almost a week after the 180 days exentsion lol. At this point I don’t even care anymore what’s going on with ROC. In 9 short months from now I will be applying for citizenship anyway, all this won’t mater anymore then, plus I probably won’t hear anything until then anyway haha.

Other exiting news tho, we’re expecting our first kid this year in August :)

Congratulations on the pregnancy.  Could you update your signature as to when you received your original extension letter?

I know crazy right! I got 5 now! and none in my sons name as they don't get extension letters!

I'm a bit worried they are totally messed up with this ROC process then they have been before.

They are messed up. we mentioned our daughter ( my step daughter) on the application. We ended up getting NOA 1 for her as well. Our intention was to mention her on our application to list how many children we have not file for her I751! She is US born citizen. We clearly marked she is not applying on the application. I talked to tier 2 officer and got it sorted out.  As per them it was a clerical error.

My Time line is Updated!

This is good to know that we should be expecting letters for both spouse and dependent child/children applying.

Thanks!

Yes, 90% of the time they ‘forget’ about the kids.

They are I751A and they will have their own case number so if you get your wife’s extension letter and haven’t received the kids within a month from that then give them a call and get their case number and they will sent out the extension (hopefully)

My extension letter says 'fee waived' but the online case status has been changed to 'case was received' - should I be concerned about the letter? Do I need to request a new one? I have also not received any notice of biometrics - do I need to call and inquire about this?

It seems that people who submitted their applications after mine have already had their appointments/received updated letters. My case was received on Dec 14th.

I would be more concerned about the Biometric appointment rather than the extension letter, I received the Biometric appointment letter before receiving the second extension letter. I believe it worth calling them to see if they sent the biometric letter or not. I don't know why they don't send an online notification or status once they set u a bio appointment.

My wife's I-751 Application was received at the Arizona Lockbox on December 6, 2018. She got an e-mail on December 13 with the receipt number for California Service Center. Our petition was received on December 5th and we have received no correspondence whatsoever. No extension letter, no biometrics appointment.. nothing. All these other people confirming about theirs is making me nervous, too! Hooray!

We were in the same situation - until we went into the local field office. On the spot, they gave us a 90 day extension and submitted an e-request on our behalf, saying we never received NOA1. Today we got it in the mail - an official 18-month extension letter. Thank you God.

Removal of Conditions

12/01/18....I-751 mailed to Texas lockbox

12/05/18....Package received by USCIS

12/10/18....NOA1 text message received with receipt number

01/24/19....Went in to local office. Received 90-day extension letter.

01/24/19....Rep at local office submitted e-Request for non-delivery of extension letter on our behalf.

01/24/19....received response to e-Request via e-mail, which says: "Please allow 30 days from the date of this correspondence for the notice to be sent".

01/25/19....Created online account. Entered receipt number on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. "Case received. Nothing to do at this time."

01/25/19....Signed up for USPS informed delivery.

01/28/19....Received by mail NOA 1 giving 18-month extension.

Did you submit your e-request online yourself or by calling USCIS?  I have been trying to do an e-request online but it doesn't let me submit it since it's less than 30 days since they sent the text message.

Yes, I submitted e-Request online by myself within 30 days from the date USCIS received my package (not from the date of text message with case number!). I did not call USCIS.

Hi @Evetorres28, from reading this forum I learned that many members either did not get the extension letter or got it late. What you can do is to wait 30 days and file e-Request https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do by choosing an option "Did not receive notice by mail".

Yes, I did it two days ago, Thanks
