I just called USCIS. They said that they sent my receipt notice on 12/31/2018. However, I never received it. So the lady on the phone escalated it and made a duplicate request...now more waiting....sigh

I'm sorry to hear that. We're in the same boat. It had been 3 weeks since we called and were told they would re-send the notice. Never got it. Since GC expires in 11 days, we made an appt at our local office and went in and were given a ninety day extension.

Removal of Conditions

12/01/18....I-751 mailed to Texas lockbox

12/05/18....Package received by USCIS

12/10/18....NOA1 text message received with receipt number

01/24/19....Went in to local office. Received 90-day extension letter.

01/24/19....Rep at local office submitted e-Request for non-delivery of extension letter on our behalf.

01/24/19....received response to e-Request via e-mail, which says: "Please allow 30 days from the date of this correspondence for the notice to be sent".

01/25/19....Created online account. Entered receipt number on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. "Case received. Nothing to do at this time."

Sorry, one more thing, my favorite quote from USCIS in their guidance to employers handbook is 11.4 Avoiding Discrimination in Recruiting, Hiring, and the Form I-9 Process.....

Employers should not:

  • Request that an employee who presented an unexpired Permanent Resident Card present a new document when the Permanent Resident Card expires.

thanks for the information, I have knowledge about that, I was answering the other person's doubt

The TX lockbox is not the same as the TX service center so I'm sure you sent it to the lockbox as it is that address they have under where to file on their instructions.

Same receive date as you, except mine is in California. Haven’t received my Notice yet. I’ve also sent an email, and they said they’ll send me a copy of the Notice. That was 8 days ago, still nada.

I just received the same email. BS in my opinion.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

I just called regarding infopass appointments, there's none in our area & I was told that you can't go to a nearby city as it's in a different jurisdiction. She stated however if my green card reaches it's expiry date *2 weeks* & there's any question of status to show the text or email showing case recieved as proof so we may not even bother getting the stamp as we don't plan to travel internationally any time in that next few months.

Additionally it was recieved January 3rd & she said the NOA hasn't been even sent out yet so I guess we are gonna stop checking the mailbox like 3x a day for a bit haha.

I just received a letter from USCIS. What’s it about? The exact info emailed to me. What a waste.

My wife has completed biometrics.  But no status update on website.  And no extension letter.  You can see on my signature when biometric was completed.
