That's interesting mine show that case was received but no on so so date received. Would be great if you add screen shot of what you see. Make sure to hide your case number or any sensitive information.

So this was the update even though I submitted my case last month. That update got me confused so I called USCIS and figured out they worked on my case. But I haven't received anything in the mail stating that they used my old biometrics though

Still in an early stage, must be a glitch, my case updated first the fees were waived (which they didnt - also never applied for that) to case received. I am sure everything is ok. Given the timeframes on the processing i wouldn't worry about anything right now. Dont drive yourself crazy over it - it will take time - all that stress is not worth it.

Hi guys, I filled out and sent my I-751 on Dec 9th. Bank statement show they cash out money on Dec 12th. I also got a text messages showing receipt number. But that’s all I got. I haven’t heard anything back from USCIS, even a receipt Notice of Action by mail.

I checked the receipt number they gave me in a text messages, it showed unknow receipt number. What should I do know? My GC will expire next month.

I’m totally freaked out right now, I also need to travel out of country due to family events. Any advice will help. Thanks alot!!!

If you are traveling out of country, you need to make an infopass to get your passport stamped.

Do you know when can I make an appointment to get stamps? Before my GC expires or after expiration date??

From what I've read by VJ people's experience, most USCIS offices will only give you a stamp within 30 days of your green card expiration.

That’s really helpful information.  I’ll try to make an infopass, since I checked the website and it all show no appointment available. Thank you so much.

Just want to piggy back on this post.

1. At newark, officer was very serious about this rule my first day of 30day begun and she mentioned that if you come before the 30day - no stamp.

Probably this is why uscis stopped walkins and online appointments and now routes those requests through phone so they can weed out useless appointments- in the sense that some people just have to wait.

2. Officer did not take my green card instead he gave it back- I’ve read here that in many places they don’t give it back or cut it.

So it seems that there are variations from office to office.

California

NOA1 - 19/01/2016

NOA2 approved - 22/03/2016

NVC status - READY - 20/04, 2016

If you can prove that you need to leave the country soon, the possibility is high to get passport stamped. In my case, i showed them my visa of the country i was planning to go and they agreed to stamp.

So, we received a very interesting email today.

They receive our package on Dec 4, 2018 and we called them on Jan 3, 2018 because we hadn't received our NOA1. They told us they filled out a service request to get us the NOA1, so we waited.  The status page also said that the request was in, but nobody was assigned to it.  Today, they sent us an email (and the status page said the service request was "completed").  The email said the following. I just don't understand how only this one letter from USCIS was somehow undeliverable out of the 100's that we've received in the last 2 years I've been at this address (and we never had anything undeliverable from USPS).  It's a letter that they would put in our mailbox, I would assume .  It's the same address that we used when we filed and we haven't moved.  Good times...

Same receive date as you, except mine is in California. Haven’t received my Notice yet. I’ve also sent an email, and they said they’ll send me a copy of the Notice. That was 8 days ago, still nada.

You said it. Everybody is receiving different  types of responses/letters from USCIS, it’s hard to figure out what we will receive. My GC is expiring tomorrow 😳 I’d be happy just get my receipt, so I have proof it’s being processed lol.
