Hey guys, completely missed this somehow but was looking through my texts & we received our case number via text January 3rd. Still unavailable to view via USCIS online, anyone have an idea on how long it will take before we're able to look it up online?

Just checked, nothing as of yet, either way not sure if it's relevant for seeing it online but ours begins with LIN not MSC.

I remember when we did the i-130 it took two weeks till  we're able to track it with recent processing times I would assume more time

A new guideline gives USCIS adjudicators full discretion to deny applications for immigration benefits, such as U.S. citizenship, permanent residency and visa extensions, without first issuing courtesy warnings known as Requests for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID).

The two notifications gave applicants and their attorneys the opportunity to intervene by providing more documentation or correcting mistakes before adjudicators closed their cases. USCIS officials can now deny an application, petition or request if initial evidence is not submitted to establish eligibility, and proceed directly to deportation.

Interview waivers for green cards through marriage

A revised guidance allows USCIS officials to waive the interview currently required to remove the conditional status of legal residence for foreigners married to U.S. citizens.

USCIS adjudicators may consider waiving the interview, which is required after two years of marriage and often makes couples nervous, if there’s sufficient evidence about the authenticity of the marriage, among other conditions.

Yeah but seeing people receiving RFE so we don't have to worry about it . Seems they deny without RFE for cases sending nothing as just place holder I would assume.

My apologies if this is not the right thread for this, if so please point me in the right direction. Does anyone know of an attorney who will review an I-751 for a reasonable cost? My attorney wanted $2500 to prepare mine and I just don't have that kind of money. Is there anyone on these boards who will look at something I've filled in, I see there's a reviews megathread but it's locked preventing further replies.

I would make a new thread asking veteran members if they could review it or point you in the right direction. that price seems outrageous.
