Received NOA/Extention letter via mail today. Shows processing center as Nebraska Service Center and the status shows “Fee Waived” ..

I did not apply for a waiver. Must be an error. Wonder if they will send another letter after correction.

its says same on mine.. may be an error

Read this forum and freaked out about how people are waiting months for extension letters, but everything moved much quicker than we ever expected. We were honestly shocked when we got the mail last night! They received our application 12/17 and then cashed the check and texted the case number on 12/19. The extension letter was also postmarked 12/19 so they mailed it right away and we received the extension letter on 12/24.

Merry Christmas to you too!

Yes I think they may separate the filers after the new cut off December 10 that would explain why all of us got ours so fast while others are waiting.

I have exactly same timeline as yours. What’s your service center? I hope biometrics are on the way too. Fingercrossed

Well, you may get your interview waived instead. I would switch for that! Haha

Hopefully, you hear something soon!

Merry Christmas to our fellow filers and wishing for a quick turnaround for everyone's NOA's and Biometrics!

We received our NOA with the same "fee waived" notice as everyone else. Glad VJ is here because we were a bit worried and confused on Christmas Eve.

I came home today to find my extension letter in the mail! Notice date 12/19/18. Fingers crossed that those who have been waiting for months get theirs soon too.

I just reread my extension letter and it says 18 month extension. I thought it was for only a year. Is that normal now. Did u all have that too or just one year extensions?

Because of delays they went from one year to 18 months in July.

Also received my Text Message and Email Notice yesterday.

I 751 routed via Nebraska. Fee Waived. Probably going to get another text today or tomorrow. Let the waiting begin. Lean back and hopefully get by without an interview haha. I've been reading in the forum throughout the holidays. Some people had sent some huge packaged, which i feel like is unnecessary. I thought i had sent way too much also hence two off my friends who already filed told me that they had sent way less. Well, i have a hot coffee waiting and a beautiful sunrise to observe. Thank you for being here family!

Looking forward to your stories and updates.
