Hi, did any of your cases update every day while it says "ready"? Did you receive packet 3 anyway or did it stop updating and then you received packet 3?

Our case didn’t update everyday, but it did update frequently. Usually we noticed that when it updated something would happen with out case right after or soon there after. Ex. Case was updated on the 31st and we got out email to request for an interview and then it updated again Feb 1 and we got the request approved to book the interview. My timeline is pretty similar to yours if you want to look at dates for Frankfurt!

Thanks for your response! I saw that it took people in Germany always about a week to receive packet 3 but for the second last batch it was two weeks. I hoped to be at one week again but I guess that’s not gonna happen. 😉 I just keep my fingers crossed that it comes in soon! Good luck for your interview! 😊

How do you make a visa interview appointment? Do you get to see the available days or timings on a website?

You go to the following website https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome?sfdcIFrameOrigin=null

Then enter your information. Your MRV fees must be paid, and you should be able to schedule your VAC and consulate interview appointments. Yes, if appointments available they will visible and you can make your selection. Make sure that your visa status is Ready before scheduling your interview.

Also, it may depend on procedures at your embassy 😏.

Packet 3 felt like a lifetime (even though it was the 2 weeks) but it went very fast after that. ☺️ Thanks and goodluck!

Yes, my fiance has his medical Feb.11. Someone at St. Andrews will send you or your fiance an email to whatever address was used and they will schedule the medical for you (when you receive the email it will have a time and date already scheduled for your fiance). My fiance received the email two days later. Your fiance may have his medical next week if they have available appointments because the medical has to be at least 10 days prior to the interview date. You just wait for the email and make sure that you have all of the needed documents together for the interview and your fiance has eveything needed for medical.

Getting impatient here :(

Our case shows as "ready" and the last (and only) update was on Jan 23rd....The embassy told us they've only received the electronic file.

Any suggestions? According to Argentinian Embassy, we can't schedule the interview until the embassy contacts us

Have you reviewed these materials to included the P3. There are some instructions as what to do.

Maybe not, if there are available appointments he should be okay. Just make sure he goes prepared with everthing that the medical email informs him to bring to include extra money for any additonal vaccines, etc. that he may need.

Yes, I actually have everything already ready to go. I'm just waiting to hear from the embassy so I can schedule the interview... but no news for now and the case hasn't been updated since the 23rd

You two are very blessed to have each other to help along this delicate process, from the same consulate/country as well as timeline. Best wishes for you and your loved ones. You will be together very soon. 🙏👏🎉🥳😊
