NVC case ready 01/08/2019

At Consulate 01/09/2019

Packet 3 Received 01/22/2019

Medical exam date 02/12/2019!, can't believe we're already at this point, waitting my fiance to send the affidavits, the affidavit copies I must send in packet3 must all pages be signed and dated by my fiance?

Everything is going so fast now, so excited 😊

Congrats! Yes, everything needs to be signed and dated.

Why did packet3 take so long to arrive? I thought they emailed it.

I haven't received it yet and I'm having my medical appointment next Thursday. Do you think that will be an issue?

People. All day today I've been answering the same question over and over "when can I do XYZ at my Embassy". Everything is contained in your P3 letter. Read it over and you'll have most of your questions answered. If you don't have a P3 letter for your Embassy please let me know. The other thing is I recommend that you go to your subform for your Embassy to ask these questions. To get to your subform go to the top of the page in the blue ribbon click on "forums" scroll 3/4 of page down and you'll see some selections. Someone from Spain is not going to be able to advise someone from the Philippines on what they need to do next fir their interview or medical. Just some friendly advice.

That reference to a P1 and a P2 letter is old. They no longer use the those designations.

Greenbaum, I think I saw an old post from you where you said embassies typically release more interview appointments the last week of the month.  Am I remembering correctly?  Nigeria does not currently have any appointments available but I'm hoping they open up more slots next week.

Ok thank you for clarifying that. I have read over the P3 many times and thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me because I've never seen that mentioned.

Yes. That is a copy that was recently shared with me. Wait till you get your copy from the embassy to verify that everything is true and accurate. Good luck.

Nigeria is a beast. The demand so much to get approved. Bring tons of documents pertaining to your relationship. Also they don't open scheduling that often. I don't have any more information that I can offer other than you just need to be patient and wait till they open up the scheduling calendar again. I would highly recommend that you connect with your sub-forum as they will know more about the history in how to pass the interview.

side question, is same day tracking using the dhl trick not effective?  Status on NVC changed today to in transit, so should we wait till tomorrow to try the dhl trick to track our package?

Yes as it will not show anything as the package has probably been picked up but not in the system yet hence the reasoning behind to wait till tomorrow.
