NOA2 was December 20th and our case is not at the NVC yet. I do know we are within processing times (if not within the average time that I have been seeing lately, at least within the maximums they always give you by standard response at the NVC). It is still frustrating anyways. We sent an inquiry last Friday (no response yet) and my fiancé keeps calling everyday...

Normal shipping timeframe from USCIS to NVC is about 3-4 weeks. So you are nearing the 4 week mark. Once NVC gets it it's another 1-3 weeks before assigning a case number. You have a ways to go.

By what I was seeing lately, people were getting their case number within a month of NOA2 (give or take). We were hoping our case made it to the embassy by the beginning of February.

I do know our case got sent on December 20th and that we are still 5 days away from the 4 weeks mark; but hoping it’d all happen before the end of the month

Case number assigned on Jan 10th, but our package is still at NVC. Hopefully it'll leave next week

Our noa2 is Dec. 6th and the NVC still hasn't received our approved i129f petition from USCIS. I'd suggest you stop calling every day and go for once a week at this point. It does suck, I had to stop looking at the VisaJourney timelines, because it's depressing to see people approved way after us already have their case #, and some cases approved the same week as us are already at their respective consulates/embassies. I have no idea why some of us seem to have gotten the short end of the stick after the noa2 approval.

I am so sorry to hear that! You’re only calling once a week! Because you’re case is way outside the 30 days that’s USCIS gives in the NOA2 hard copy. They have to do something at this point

Well we just changed to calling the NVC twice a week (Monday and Thursday nights only). We also called USCIS last week, but that was also a huge waste of time because they won't tell you anything, other than "We have up to 90 days to send your approved petition to the NVC" *eye roll*.

Yes, and once you hit the 30 day limit, the NVC's excuse changes to "it takes up to 6 weeks". Now it's "it takes up to 8 weeks". This stage is maddening.

Seriously? Try again at USCIS  because they told us that they’ve already sent it and that they had to have it within 30 days. Like they actually confirmed they had sent it

I have an email to open a case inquiry for the NVC to coordinate with USCIS to find our petition (this will only work if you are past 6 weeks waiting after noa2). Waiting until we call Thursday. If it's still not there, I'm submitting a case inquiry.

Is the inquiry form that NVC has on their website or a different one? We’re still a couple of weeks away from that; hopefully yours will be there on Thursday and they’ll have your case number (as a bonus for the wait). And we won’t get as far as having to submit the inquiry either

It is different. Some digging around on the VJ site, or an admin here, will give you this email: NVCResearch@state.gov

Others have scanned their approved noa2 notice, included their WAC#, petitioner and beneficiary full names and date of births in the email. Do not email it though until you pass 6 weeks of waiting.
