You can't hurry it along at all for Canada. You have to wait for P3 which takes 2-4 weeks from Ready. Comply with what they ask for in P3 (the actually one they send you) by sending them a copy of the signed P3 checklist, your DS-160 confirmation and your Passport Bio. Then they send you P4. Then they tell you to register to schedule and you'll wait some more for interviews to open up, which only happens once a month during the last week of the month for two months ahead UNLESS you are lucky and you scoop up a cancellation. Get your medical appointment first so you can schedule the interview shortly afterwards.

Packet 3: https://ca.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/07/Packet3Instructions-K1.pdf  And Packet 4 for reference also: https://ca.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/03/Packet4-MTL.pdf

For all things dealing with the US Consulate in Canada head on over to the sub-forum for Canada where they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

You can use the most current tax return. 2017 or 2018. Whichever you have filed prior to your interview. Either will work.

Thank you @Greenbaum :)

Does anyone of you need a P3 for your country. I have advance copies if you would like.

I am all set thank you for checking!

I grabbed the Packet 3 available on the Thailand embassy website: https://th.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/packets/. Have everything complete, just waiting to send to the embassy!

Here is a recent discussion on what is needed. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/641246-what-should-i-do-for-the-next-step/

If and when you get the P3 from your embassy if you could send me a copy via PM here on VJ I would appreciate that. I can then use to help others that come behind you.

alright will do that. is it possible to know the vaccination list? can i get it done now in Malaysia instead of Singapore since it is cheaper? and bring the doctor certificate as evidence back to Singapore appointed clinic?

I'm afraid I don't know that answer. Embassy's are really particular about their medical centers. It's best that you pose that question to your Embassy.

Hi @Greenbaum do you happen to have a P3 for China? I can’t find one anywhere 😐

P3 Letter for China:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gcrLW0OCkGfdz43tehWNmgDayJUrRTdj/view?usp=sharing

U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. K visa applicants will be notified by the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview.

An individual with an approved petition and a priority date that is current for processing (when applicable) is eligible to apply for an immigrant visa or K nonimmigrant visa. Immigrant visa applicants will be notified by either the National Visa Center (NVC)

And don't forget the help from other members here:
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/

And the Portal here on VJ for processing in China and what to expect
http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=China&cty=Guangzhou

 or the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp

Don't waste time while you're waiting for P3, complete DS-160 and print confirmation page. Since you are from China(I provided your website for you below), go to the 2nd link below and click immigrant to register under K1 visa. After you register and enter info it should be clear on how to pay fee, make sure you print Bank deposit slip. just follow directions under Nonimmigrant Visa, but make sure when you register K1 is under Immigrant Visa.

Directions go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-visaapply.asp

Register(Create Account) https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=China After you register make sure to choose K1 visa under Immigrant, it wasn't an option for me under non-immigrant.

Do you mind if I ask you what you wrote on the inquiry? My NOA2 was December 20th so I wanna send one, but I do not know what to write because I am assuming that asking "hey dudes, where the hell is my case at?" will not fly (obviously I am kidding).

THANKS!!!

I just said I had received my NOA and I was wondering if the NVC had received my case yet.
