Begin calling NVC again. You only need to call once a day. Good Luck.

We appear to be in the same boat. Our noa2 was Dec. 6 and the NVC still hasn't received our approved petition (as of an hour ago). *sigh*. I'm not calling again until Monday.

I thought the shipments every 2 weeks pertain to the cases LEAVING the NVC for the embassies though, not the cases received by the NVC from USCIS? @Greenbaum

Yes from NVC to the embassies every 2 weeks.

She said "now i see! so NVC mail every other week?" which I viewed as the NVC mails every other week to the embassies and not from USCIS. But rereading her post I now see the mistake I made. Shipments to NVC from USCIS are not tracible to my knowledge so we can't say when they are shipped to NVC. And then you have her answering with a graphic of the form to use to track the case from NVC to the embassy only blurs the question.

CEAC says ready and DHL says that shippment is being processed in Warsaw, Poland :) Yay! Moves incredibly fast now!

That is why I’be decided to wait for the letter from the Embassy since there are some stuff I have to take care of.

From what others have posted, as soon as a case number is assigned then the "received date" is no longer visible to the NVC call center.  The only way to know the received date is to call them before a case number is assigned but after it is arrives to the NVC, and that window of time is normally only a few days wide.

As I understood, the medical exam can be done only after receiving the case number from NVC, but no need to wait for the documents to reach the embassy/consulate.

1. Case number from NVC is needed for medical examination along with address in US, where beneficiary is going to live. Your fiancée will need to know this.

2. Police certificate can be obtained without case number. It is valid 1 year. So beneficiary can obtain it in advance.

3. To get results of medical examination it can take 7-14 days, especially in Summer. Medical costs $190 - adult, $140 - child under 14 years.

Police certificate: costs 12,25 bel.rubles- within 7-15 days, or 24,5 bel.rubles - within 3 days.

4. The birth certificate needs to be translated to English.

5. If the petitioner is going to be with the beneficiary for the interview, the USC does not need to fill out anything. Just use the petitioner's passport to enter the US embassy. Though, it doesn't guarantee that they will be allowed to attend the interview with beneficiary that's entirely up to the interviewing CO.

Note: Do not schedule your interview date until you receive a letter with the instructions. If you do not receive the instructions from the US Embassy within six weeks after the notification from NVC about the transferring of your case to Warsaw, you should send an inquiry about the status of your case directly to the Consular Section of the US Embassy Warsaw at publicwaw@state.gov

1. First think you need to do is complete your profile.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

2. Next join these two groups for others who are processing a visa through the Mumbai consulate.

And

3. Here is the letter that you will receive from Mumbai Embassy. Read it over carefully and follow the instructions. Another member of VJ added some additional information contained below which outlines what he experienced.

Once you received your case number from NVC,  I would recommend you fill out DS-160 form and submit. Some say the packet 3 letter is nothing just waste of time same thing they have mention which you easily get from USCIS website when you called to the clinics to book your medical appointment date they will ask you have you received your packet letter or not. Just say yes and booked the appointment date however you will receive that letter within 2 weeks the day you will get your NVC number.

Go on USCIS website make your account with password and then pay your fees to Citibank or Axis bank. They will give you reference number. With that number you can book your biometric and interview appointment date. The fees are 18,500 and for medical but I recommend that you carry 20,000 with you in the event you need more. Be sure to  keep at least 7 days gap between medical and interview.

You tried doing what. The link send you to a post that has 12-15 items for you to be aware of. Which are you having problems with?

I am having problems with tracking the case with DHL. My case status says 'Ready' but there is not anything found. I've been trying the tracking thing for days now so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or they don't have it even though my case status says it is ready.

Do you mind if I ask you what you wrote on the inquiry? My NOA2 was December 20th so I wanna send one, but I do not know what to write because I am assuming that asking "hey dudes, where the hell is my case at?" will not fly (obviously I am kidding).

THANKS!!!
