Our case moved very fast.
152 days from NOA1 to NOA2 
NOA2 arrived December 7th
NVC email arrived January 8th (A month wait) and shows in transit since Jan 8

Hola Fernanda, asumo que hablas espanol, entonces voy a tratar (todavia estoy aprendiendo)... El CEAC me dijo "ready" hoy.  Solo paso un dia.  Nuestro caso fue muy lento (recibimos un RFE que nos demoro 40 dias), pero recentemente mas rapido. Ya reservamos la entrevista hoy para el 23 de Enero. Buena suerte!!

My case is READY at AIT!!!

 

Though I'm not going to the states right away, can I pay the K1 visa fee now since it said ready,

and have a peep at what future openings are there and schedule it?

 

Hang in there people!! We've come this far and this is the last stage of K1 process,

and one more step, we'll be on the flights to our love ones.

When will it be sent to the US embassy in the Philippines?

The NVC STILL HASN'T RECEIVED OUR APPROVED i129f PETITION. What is going on!?!? It's been over a month and the NVC hasn't even got it yet, while everyone else seems to be moving quickly to the in transit to the embassy stage, even with noa2's over a week or more after us. 😭

I have NOA2 of December 13 and they have not received my petition yet either. Doing my best to remain patient but I can't help but think about how inefficient this whole process is...I waited on hold for 1 hour and 8 minutes tonight. Standard "up to 6 weeks" response when someone finally answered. At least the people at the NVC call center are professional and courteous (silver lining!).

Once our application arrives at the embassy/consulate do they provide another number to schedule an interview or do you use the number the NVC gave us?

I received the notification on the 8th that NVC sent my package. I checked DHL today and found the shipment and it states it should arrive January 11th. I'm going to call(Embassy) on Tuesday to see if they can make a note on the account to either email package 3 or change my beneficiaries address because her address changed towards the end of our process and didn't want to risk delaying my application.

So since we already got our case number and just waiting for them to send it to the US Embassy in Manila, can we start DS 160 and pay the visa fee? Then wait for them to receive it in manila then schedule the interview and medical? Or do I have to wait for our papers to be in transit or ready?

 

NVC also gave us an invoice number over the phone. When do we use it?

Yes, we completed DS-160 before Case Number. You need the invoice number to schedule the actual appointment - which for us was done online. I'm not sure how your country works though.. Good luck!!

 

We also scheduled medical and interview (as medical requires an interview date) prior to when we received notification that our case was in transit. I'm definitely a risk taker, but I've been studying the trends, you should be fine!

Stupid question alert: When the case says "Ready" it means that the Embassy has received everything right? I just check my status to see that it's been updated to "Ready" and I think I'm still in shock!!!
