In transit as well! NVC also emailed us about that - Yay!

Also „oh no” we are still not done with paperwork for the interview ;)

Hi everyone, today my fiance got our NVC email notification with our new case number for our K1, yeeey! :D
Is that it? or they will also send a letter, we just got an email.

Question is: When I got into the CEAC and did what Greenbaun says: chose immigrant visa- added my NVC case number and got the message "In transit" (your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center) but I did not get any visa date in the NVC email. How can I check out if they have already scheduled an interview date for me?, As far as I know I am suposed to schedule that at my embassy web page after doing the DS 160 Form. Am I right?

TIA!

Someone was saying here that this box info on CEAC is not adequate to K1 situation.

FYI: same here, no interview date in NVC email.

I think it is a bit too early to track today’s  shipment  ;)

Just got the NVC email with attachment. CEAC tracking still shows "At NVC" but the letter says its being forwarded. Should I presume the CEAC status tracker lags by a day or so?

If the letter is right then we will get the PSA docs ordered.

If we arent in this batch then we should hold on the PSA docs so that they dont arrive ahead of the packet.

Yes both CEAC and DHL will lag at least 24 hours. CEAC has been known to be a day or two sometimes but not many.

Reading my "seatbelt" post it most clearly states to wait 24 hours. :bonk:  :D

From this day forward you will have nothing more to do with NVC. You schedule your own interview date (a hand full of embassies will do it for you) and complete the DS-160.

If you explain the problem, maybe I can help. Yelling FIRE and not telling anyone where the fire is, is nonproductive.

We finally got the email from NVC this morning and got our case number,

they didn't say when our case was received tho.

And is it just me or anyone else is having trouble with the CEAC case tracker?

It just kept loading and loading then told me the code I enter was wrong.

Then it stopped working after I refreshed it.

Could someone tell me why... thank you

Nobody knows why as none of us are technicians and we don't work for CEAC. Just have to give it some time and try again.

Not sure if I checked the status for my case properly then. It gave me the option of checking for nonimmigrant or immigrant. The nonimmigrant status check required a long confirmation code (which I have never seen before) but the immigrant status check required the MTL number I received from NVC

select "immigrant" and then enter your case number.
