Yes I did It shows at NVC and since yesterday I have a hard time on the website. Our case# assigned jus a week ago Dec.20th does anyone how long they are going to ship?

I would call in a week. You may not have a case number at that time, but you'll at least know if they received your case.

Mine got approved on Dec,10th. I called today , they said they haven't recieved ours yet. Keep waiting thennnn. 😆

Super Excited"Everything worked out at the NVC finally! This morning I received an email stating our case will be sent to the Turkish Embassy and there will be no documents sent to my (the petitioner) address.We just scheduled our interview and medical appointment.  How do we know if we need a sponsor or not? I am super worried about that part but I haven't seen anything about it yet. Also, the I-134 form says it expired in November, is there another form or am I missing something? Can we still use that form?

We have discussed the fact that the cases are sent every other week. You must have missed that convos.  Last shipment was this week. So I guess that means that in two weeks they will send again, Tues/Wed.

After you get your case number from NVC it would be a good idea if you were to connect with the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Colombia and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

Get the US Embassy Colombian K-1 Packet 3 (P3) at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7hB3bl9Snfkb0NiMVFUd2JsVjA/view  as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

 

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

Ppl doing their vaccinations in Columbia can do them with anyone not connected to the approved medical center where  your exam will take place saving you a lot of money. Be sure to get a receipt that states every single vaccination that you received. See list below that are required vaccinations. Then during your medical present the receipt for the vaccinations to the Doctor and ask that they be transposed to the DS-3025 and marked COMPLETE! Very important that they are marked complete. You will use this document once you are married and filing your AOS package.

How do we know if we need a sponsor or not? If you are below the poverty level for your size family then  you will need a co-sponsor. Google 2018 poverty levels and you will have your chart to verify your income to it.

I am super worried about that part but I haven't seen anything about it yet. It's been talked about in this thread.

Also, the I-134 form says it expired in November, is there another form or am I missing something? Can we still use that form? This too has been talked about. Go through this thread and you will come upon it.

Go to the first page of this thread and the very first post gives you lots of tips to be aware of. One of them answers this question. The reason I posted it first is so that you and others wouldn't ask the question and I or others wouldn't have to answer it a bazillion times.
