The shipper's reference to Vietnam, you have to hit the date on the mark. I have found out they ship every 2 weeks on Wednesday and the Consulate receives it on Monday. I only checked Nov and Dec but the next shipment for Vietnam should go out on the 27th.

Thank you so much for all you do Greenbaum. I am very glad I found VJ and I have learned a lot from you and many others.

What did u put in shipper's reference? I tried putting date but it doesn't work.

I had to play around with the dates to get it to come up but the last shipment was EXP 11 dec 2018a

What is "EXP" and why do we have to put "a" after the year?

EXP = EXPRESS. They have different shipping methods so you need to tell the computer that you are looking for Express. These are the instructions that if you don't follow you will not get the intended results. This is how it works.

You need to follow the instructions to the letter or you will not get your result. The last part of choosing the city is wrong you will be presented with a pop down list and you select your country. Otherwise follow the instructions. I will update January's NOA2 to NVC with this corrected information.

Just got our  noa 2 today in mail :D  noa 1 was july 9, noa2 12/17!

Congratulations.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Does the embassy automatically schedule the interview or do they give you a dates available to choose from? I'm hoping to go to Korea end of March and assuming there's no hiccups I could see late February being soonest, but I'd still prefer March otherwise my beneficiary is on her own at the interview as that's my only time off.

You schedule the interview online after they pay the fee. http://www.ustraveldocs.com/kr/index.html

I'm from the Philippines so I don't have your answer. I heard that there is sub-forum for Korean with many their that can help you. Also, there are many tools to help you with that. Try selecting your flag in your profile and see what turns up.

Every Embassy is different so we would have for you to receive the wrong information.

I don't know if they are ready to ship or not, just that the next shipment date should be around the 26th hopefully.

*About the ds160 filing*

Hi guys, let me start explaining a little.I work from home  for a Puerto Rican based company that doesn't have a  physical office in Venezuela.  I added my job/work information on the I129f and now need to give more details on the ds160.

My questions are:

- Could this affect the approval of the k1 visa

- When giving information of my duties, should I add something brief or describe as better as possible?

Any info/opinion is welcome 🙂

Just want to be sure not to mess up my ds160.

@Greenbaum if you have any info about this I'd be very thankful.

Any job is not going to influence your approval for a K-1 unless you are a terrorist or are "bad person". Just add what is requested. Don't embellish your job or write any side notes as they are not needed. Just do what do will do. If you give too much information, meaning more then what is asked for, then you are setting yourself up for either a longer process with checks or questioning from the CO at your interview. The less information they have the better your process will be. I am advocating that you be honest and concise with your answers.

Thank you so much! I just do simple office tasks like planning meetings, phone calls, and helping with certain tasks like designing promotion materials.

Guys since I got my approval already me and my fiancé are starting to gather the documents for the affidavit of support but im confused with something and its the taxes information, in the instructions for the I-134 its says that the income tax report is just required when you are self employed but ive seen websites stating that even if you are not self employed you need to aubmit them.

and my fiancé (the petitioner) moved to USA last year on December since she was living with me here in Dominican Republic, and she was here since she was 13 (she is a us born citizen) so we dont know how to proceed in that case as this is the first year she is going to file for taxes.
