Nope. It's a non-immigration visa with immigrant intent.

Ohk! Cool. Cause I checked under Immigration category and as it shows in the screenshot DS-260 form can be seen under that category. As K-1 applicants, we have to go for DS-160 so it jus confuses. Both categories asks for case number to check the status but I guess the case numbers are written differently for those categories. This immigrant/nonimmigrant is so confusing though on travel.state.gov it shows under Immigrant visa category.

Everyone has a profile on the left hand column. At the bottom of the profile you are going to see the word "timeline". Selecting it takes you to the profile owners timeline where you can look to see when they received their NOA2. Most keep up with their timelines. If not then I would say if it is important then ask otherwise, use the tools that are available to you.

NOA2: November 30th

While you wait here are some things that can save you time and is specific to the Philippines. The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Agreed! In fact, i mentioned to the very kind lady that some people on the internet make it their business to tell applicants "not to call USCIS OR NVC because they're too busy to deal with all those calls" she replied "that is silly and applicants are absolutely not a problem, its our pleasure to help where we can and encourage callers". They really would prefer people to call, ask whatever questions they might have because then they avoid costly and even more time consuming mistakes. I think they are fantastic and really appreciated the numbing down, directly from them of all the fear mongering some folks get up to. Take that as you will but feel free to call, don't hesitate.

I would like to add that using common sense in determining if a call to USCIS is important or can you find that information elsewhere, such as here on VJ from the many experts that are available to you.

Congratulations. Here is some help for the next steps.

After you get your case number from NVC it would be a good idea if you were to connect with the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Colombia and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

Get the US Embassy Colombian K-1 Packet 3 (P3) at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7hB3bl9Snfkb0NiMVFUd2JsVjA/view  as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

https://co.usembassy.gov/visas/

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages and here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota

Ppl doing their vaccinations in Columbia can do them with anyone not connected to the approved medical center where  your exam will take place saving you a lot of money. Be sure to get a receipt that states every single vaccination that you received. See list below that are required vaccinations. Then during your medical present the receipt for the vaccinations to the Doctor and ask that they be transposed to the DS-3025 and marked COMPLETE! Very important that they are marked complete. You will use this document once you are married and filing your AOS package.

Good luck and God's speed.

This was as I suspected.  The new site shows my NOA 12/17 but my hardcopy of the NOA2 shows 12/14.  Most likely the person that was doing the data entry for the site(s) must have skipped over you.  Now that I thought about it, having 2 forms of approval notice with 2 different persons, ensures the petitioner get 1 or both form of notice.

Please which one is the new site cos am kinda lost...my status have been the same for the past one month stating the have received my reply for the rfe the issued while I have already gotten my Noa2

Old site (also the data source for all 'USCIS case tracker' apps): https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Newhttps://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ (you have to create an account and add your case # to it)

Neither is more reliable (and it's very possible you won't see anything on either, and will have to just wait for the physical mail). For a while it looked like they were phasing out the "old" site, but that trend seems to have reversed itself and there are still lots of cases that show up on only one (or much earlier on one than the other).
