I sent them a message at the asknvc site just after I got approved at USCIS and they sent an email a week or two later saying they havn't received my file yet. Hopefully they will send another email when they do get it

I'd give them a call. A few days before they received my case, they sent me a message saying they didn't have my case yet. My case was received on the 17th and my noa2 was Nov 29.

1. How do I update my email address with NVC Once you receive your NOA2 approval then contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address. This will give you an email alert when your file arrives at NVC, your case is assigned and when the file leaves for your Embassy. .......Instructions in the first page 😀😀😀 in my case every time I wanted to call it was too busy thats why the email worked out perfect. They took a week to answer me but they did it when zi was planning to call haha

Called NVC today and they haven't recieved my case yet. I am commenting to say that calling then was a very pleasant experience. I'll try again after new years unless they do email me the information.

Yeah they are kinda mean but don't worry within a week they will send you an email. I sent two messages one asking if they receive my case... And one asking my case number. Never thought they would reply both haha of course different dates :) so do it!

This is so exciting. I just check and it says this. After is at the NVC.. How long it will take to send it to my country?  And after this it will say in transit right? Ahhh haha so happy and didn't even call. For those who are still waiting send messages and they will surprise you with good news  and thank you so much @Greenbaum for all your tips in the first page. Didn't know any of that. Thank youuuuuuuuuu😀😀😀😀

First off your welcome. Second your record is now at NVC where they will assign a case number in the next week to two weeks. Holiday shutdown remember? Do not follow any of the instructions in the information you had posted in the box. It doesn't pertain to a K-1 visa. Start calling next week for your case number.

Oh. It sounded from your post that you didn't have it. Then read the information that you have on Peru and begin working toward your interview. Remember case files will not go out till next week and we don't know what day because of the holiday. Check your status at ceac.state.gov and select immigrant and enter your case number to watch the process of your file.

No you don't need to wait for P3 to fill out the DS160. You can use either the case number from NVC or the WAC number from USCIS. You can help them fill it out but they have to be the one to submit it. They can track where the submit button is clicked.

Track it how?
