Sorry to keep heckling 😕 but does this need to be notarized too? Or just their affidavit, stamp and signature will do?

https://usa.embassy.gov.au/translation-documents-not-english Here is a good view of what is needed.

Then it's mirroring exactly what I penned not 3 or 4 post ago. Yours is normal and processing as it should. Trust the process and you won't worry so much.

@GreenbaumInteresting! Asking this jus out of curiosity. So once the interview is done, are the updates on ceac done by the embassy or is it that the embassy put approved in their system and then the further processing/issuing of visa is done by the immigration department sitting in US?

After the interview all "maintenance" for the visa issuance is done at the Embassy where your interview took place. The Embassy updates CEAC as they procedure to each step of the process that they undertake to arrive at the visa manufacturing and the inclusion therein your passport.

Hey guys! My fiance and I are traveling to the US on Thursdayper excited!

I got the envelope with the famous corner cut, hope that's not a problem...

Also, I got a letter explaining that the officer will stamp my passport at the Port of entry and then I will be granted a temporary employment permit. That took me by surprise, since I thought that I had to eat married forts and then file to be able to work. Anyone knows anything about this?

You are not granted any type of employment permit as a K-1. We were just having this discussion in another link. I'll post the link so you can follow along. And to your second question no the slit is there so the people at immigration can open your envelope faster so you are fine with it the way it is. Please Please pack it safely within your carry on luggage.

Hi all! I hope you are very well. I have a question, does anyone know if the migration record is valid? I got it in January of this year, talk to migration Colombia and it says it has no expiration, but I want to be sure if the embassy asks for it with a certain time or date to be accepted by them. I appreciate your answers, Nice day.😘

Hello Friend @ Greenbaum

Sorry I don't speak your language. The TOS for VJ states that you can speak your language in a thread that is dedicated to your country but when you are in all general threads you must use English. Repost in English if you are able and I will answer your question.

Hey guys quick question. I emailed the embassy (Montreal) about which documents to provide for domicile and status for US petitioner and they sent me a reply about “how to book my interview” lol which is already done and also wasn’t related to my question at all ahaha but does anyone have advice on which documents we should provide for the interview to show this? My fiancé has lived in the US his whole life and has never lived anywhere else and can provide many documents to prove domicile and status in the USA. So far we have a copy of his passport and birth certificate and income tax returns. Just want to make sure we bring the right ones. Thanks!

Hello  guys,

I have a big problem

My fiance done with his interview but because he used to stay in Dominica now they want him to provide a police certificate. We called the police headquarters in Dominica to request it they told us to send the documents to do the background check. We sent everything they ask for by DHL since February 27, 2019. This morning when I track the package it show the last update was 3/1/2019 arrived in Trinidad and Tobago.

You haven't asked a question so a little had to know what you want.
