@Greenbaum thanks so much! You are always there helping our, I apresiate so much.

Will call the embassy as soon as I get affidavits from my fiance, and will post here the resolution 😊

Well I think I have good news for you. You should contact ustraveldocs to correct the problem. Google their information for customer service. Here is something that another VJ member wrote.

As stated in these forums be very VERY careful on creating your ustraveldocs (aka https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome)  profile.  I won't spout the whole rant about the website.  Be mindful of two caveats: 1) Type the email exactly as it is.  One small typo will cause you not to receive anything since the profile will be created without the system validating the email first.  2)Never create more that one profile just to check out website user interaction.  I did both mistakes and had to call ustraveldocs and request that all 3 profiles (the first I created, the one with the typo in the email and the one with the correct email) be merged since I used the same beneficiary's data.  The system checks that and won't let you pay and schedule your appointments.  VAC appointment is on the last week of August and Embassy in mid-September.  After we are done I will be updating our timeline.

Hey everybody! Just letting you guys know that we had our interview this morning and it went great.

The process was smooth and simple. Waiting times weren't half bad, pretty straight forward.

My fiancee was there with me but he wasn't allowed in the actual interview. The consul invited him in just to say hi and then asked him to leave.

I started the interview by swearing I was telling the truth and having my finger prints taken.

The consul was serious but proper and professional, not at all rude.

He asked me how we met, when and where. How the relationship developed, how we decided to get married, what we do for work and what our plans are for this year.

I chose to speak English, answered thoroughly and directly and that was it.

It took me at most 5 minutes. He congratulated me, said that my visa would be ready in a week and that was it.

I'm flying on the 7th, entering through Huston with my boy. Wish me luck!

Hope my fiance's interview will go smoothly as your in about 5 hours.  Also congratulations!

Hey guys, I've just realized that after the interview, no one gave us any paperwork. The consultant said the visa was approved and that was it.

I've read that when entering the states we are supposed to hand in a closed envelope or something, but they kept everything at the embassy, including the medical.

Is that ok? I don't even have my vaccine form anymore, they kept everything.

@Greenbaum I'm sure you know the answer to this.

Thanks!

As far as I know, paperwork should be send to you with visa. I assumed you also don’t have visa yet and you just got the oral approval?

My interview was on tuesday and I am waiting for a delivery guy with the package from the Embassy.

*i posted this on a different thread as well so apologies to anyone if this is a repeat question! Ahaha

Anyone know anything about when/if any interview dates will become available? It’s been a week since I received packet 4 to schedule my appointment. It seems like a terrible system of constantly checking to see if someone cancels with no idea when they will start to open up more dates ...

Getting so anxious to at least have an interview date so I can book my medical. My NOA2 also expires in beginning of April so I’m starting to get worried we won’t get an interview before then. Anyone else in this situation or know anything about embassies that have “no appointment dates available”?

also my embassy is Montreal

I have same situation with US Embassy in Argentina. How do you get into the webpage to check dates?, I started the process to schedule interview, but found out no dates available, the sistem created an IVR Case #, though cool, tomorrow will check again. Next day got into webpage but dont know how to retrive my case, only gives me the option to create an appointment. How do you check in the sistem?

I use this link https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/iv/users/sign_in

to sign in with my email address and password I created when I opened the account. If that doesn’t work there’s also a number you can call and talk to an operator for the site. They are very friendly and informative, I’ve called a few times now and they answer right away. Hope this helps:)
