Does anybody experience issues scheduling the interview? I tried on monday, added my personal information, then asked me for the currier information where to send my passport with the visa once approved, but when I got to the payment part with the callendar to schedule the interview date, got the message "No dates available", tried to do payment anyways with no success, seems like I have to do both. Got an IVR case number, saved it to continue the steps the next day.

Yesterday I got into the webpage to continue the steps and check out if there is any available date for interview, but don't know how to open or find the IVR case I already have, instead of creating a new one. I tried to start the prosses again but got the error message saying "this email already has a case number atached to it". Can anybody help me please? @Greenbaum you are the only one answering my conserns. 😖

I was also thinking to call the US Embassy to fix this issue and to open new dates, but I wanted.to check if there's somwthing I can do before calling

Employment letter, paystubs, w2s, tax transcripts, and 1040s do not need to be certified or original and if you print them locally they are not certified.

Cool. If those documents don't need to be certified then I am good. :)

You can list both as this is just an embassy internal form. Be sure to identify which is which.

Hey everybody! Just letting you guys know that we had our interview this morning and it went great.

The process was smooth and simple. Waiting times weren't half bad, pretty straight forward.

My fiancee was there with me but he wasn't allowed in the actual interview. The consul invited him in just to say hi and then asked him to leave.

I started the interview by swearing I was telling the truth and having my finger prints taken.

The consul was serious but proper and professional, not at all rude.

He asked me how we met, when and where. How the relationship developed, how we decided to get married, what we do for work and what our plans are for this year.

I chose to speak English, answered thoroughly and directly and that was it.

It took me at most 5 minutes. He congratulated me, said that my visa would be ready in a week and that was it.

I'm flying on the 7th, entering through Huston with my boy. Wish me luck!

It's been so long that I have used the scheduling system and I am sure there have been changes. I would recommend that you contact the Embassy concerning this issue. The reason you don't see any scheduling dates is because the calendar is FULL. Your embassy is always very problematic concerning the ability to get a interview date. I would love to know how you solved this so I might be able to help someone in the future who has the same issue. I know it happened to someone else but it was a year or two so it is difficult to find their post again.

First Congratulations. Second I hope you have not purchases airline tickets until such time as you have received your visa and you have had time to review it for errors. Yes, visa's can have errors and then they have to be returned to the embassy for reissue. Of course if you have tickets that you will not receive a penalty for changing then this is a non-issue. Just giving you a heads up.

Every embassy will tell you not to quit your job or book you flights until you have your visa in hand and have checked for accuracy.

What do these terms stand for? 🤔

IV immigrant Visa, AR Application received, AP Administrative processing.

Progression usually IV: At NVC => IV: In  Transit => IV: Ready => (Interview) => IV: Administrative Processing => NIV: Application Received (Visa flips from Immigrant to its final non-immigrant form) => NIV: Administrative Processing => NIV: Issued. At least this was my observation.
