Has anyone else had this feeling- u had your interview, now in AP, but u dont want to say anything until the visa is in-hand?  I feel like this is practice for future children... like "dont say anything until you're 12 weeks".

Oh, that's me right now...still on AP because I didn't go to interview with my medical  but was approved...

ours changed to AP 24h after the interview.  there are typically 2 phases of AP (and 2 readys) before it changes to issued.

@Greenbaum or others.... anyone had this issue when printing I-134 ? The bottom page number is not getting printed. Is it ok or should I try a different printer ? I tried several times but this is how it’s coming out.

The form is a PDF, so when you print it there is an option to scale it by percentage or just say scale to fit page and it will fit.  Greenbaum is the final authority n this stuff, but if it was me, I’d make sure the pages were complete as they show on the form just to be safe.

Just about everyone goes through the AP process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

Kuwait doesnt use courier (or cgifederal for that matter) for K-1... they give a claim sticker at the end of the interview and confirm a contact number to pick it up at the window when everything is finished.  There may be some regulation here on delivery of non-citizen passports because even B2 visas (which do use cgifederal) are aramex office pick-up if ur not a Kuwaiti.

@Greenbaum Thanks for the explanation. In that case what are some of the reasons for the second AP (assuming NIV) to be held up?

Packaging your documents in the "do not open envelope'.

It depends on your printer. Check for the aspect ratio. Keep it to "Fit well" or arrange accordingly where u see everything is covered.
