Hi everyone! I've been reading a lot about the fact that if you take engagement photos and you're dressed up that leads the CO to believe you could be married. Is that true? What kind of photos did you take to the interview? Thanks!!

@Sarac9 @Amnazaid and other Pakistanis on VJ please help.

If you have engagement photos then take them and it shows that there is a ring or a ring being placed on your finger.

Isn't that the reason for CO to mistaken for Marriage? having Ring photos and Engagement Ceremonies?

Did you had engagement photos to show at the interview?

No it was fine.  Because engagement practices vary culture to culture.  I had a traditional Pakistani styled engagement.

There were few Pakistani Post regarding this issues last couple weeks ago ,.. They said they were denied because of the pictures of engagement.

However, I am glad to hear that yours was approved.

I sent traditional engagement pictures of my engagement with my petition and was worried

What is Pakistani styled engagement? We did it in a restaurant with a little flowery stage. Both wearing traditional clothes with matching colors. Exchanged rings (both) and had the whole family there except for my Fiances sister because her baby was only a few months and she couldn't fly in from Canada.

You wanna be careful because if you both excahnged rings then the CO might get the wrong idea. In my case, it was my fiance's sister who placed the ring on my finger and i didnt place anything on his. And we were dressed too but we did it at home as we didn't want to hold such a large function. Make sure to only send in photos in which a ring is placed on your finger and not his.
